HAHAHA bec i would have to agree with you i enjoy listening to Hughsey, Kate & Dave of a morning...

They are much more entertaining than ie. The Cage!!! *shakes head*

I quite like the Cage following on from my traumatic ride to Winton with Snowy. I emerged at the end, a fully Cage and Magnetic Fields convert! :D

I did like their rendition of the Home and Away theme tune adjusted to meet the needs of Bec and Lleytons wedding.

Kate annoys me but the other two I dont mind, however burnt CD's of all my 90's dance tracks are getting the vote at the moment B)

hehe, yeah i heard then end of that segment. Were u the one that said you had a 12 second car? cause i heard the wank talk on about the compression shit :|

seems like a f**ktard.

Oh geeze - Magnetic Fields?

Snowy, you are a buckled unit for bringing that one to the world.

And face it - ALL breakfast radio is pathetic.

I should do it. I'd at least know to put 98 in my free Monaro.

Premium dude, she needs PREMIUM!

But that's reletivly late dude!! Normally Gemma has me up at 4:45 o go to the Gym. It opens at 5:30 and we are there just after that!

The things we do for love!

Ah the good old QF1 flight in at that obsurd hour of the morning, she must have done that deliberately to keep you on your toes

hahahhaha , SHE NEEDS PREMIUM DUUUDE, PREEEMIIUMMM!!!!

classic!!!

sorry wasn't up, but i was on the Neil Mitchell talk back radio once when they were crapping about how unsafe imports were. I rang up and gave me $10 dollars worth in the end... bunch of retards talking such crap.

crapping on saying they're soo unsafe. How to these cars get into the country... yada, yada. I promptly responded with the fact that imports, especially the ones most ppl bring in, have higher levels of safety features. They had traction control earlier in their cars, they had abs earlier in their cars, they had airbags earlier in their cars, better suspension... etc etc. And that the majority of the grey imports brought in are sports cars, meaning disc brakes and all that jazz are generallly standard. I'd much rather be in my R34 than my Pulsar hatch in an emergency situation, f**k... wouldn't stand a chance with drum brakes, bicycle tyres, no airbags, etc...

Also threw in the fact you can speed and do stupid things in any car, and that what magical thing happens after you get off your p's that means you can drive a hi-po vehicle? I'm off my p's now, doesn't mean i can handle a R34 any more or less just because i'm not putting up some red sticker <_<

i think it was soon after that guy wrapped his 33 around a pole on dandenong rd, just after the chapel st intersection.

4:45!!!! your nuts, i'd get rid of her :( j/k

I tried calling again and they put me on hold, bu the segment ended.

Oh well.

Let's let the yobbo think he's cool.  It's all he's got.

Sorry Bass, I was still sleeping but if you wanna track him down, here is a photo of him (possibly) ... :P

    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
