  1. Mine are 'fine' too, but they just don't feel crisp. I have never driven other abs r33s. But compared to my lexus gs300, there seems to be a lot more 'flop' in the initial bit of the pedal, like it doesnt' seem to do much up there, whereas in the lexus, it is very tight and firm, just like my clutch pedal.
  2. Those sau panties look like a good idea. I remember seeing some sau seat covers before. Are they still being made?
  3. If it blew the fuse, then that most likely means that it is a short. Or perhaps the unit itself has a short in it. While I don't know anything at all about the aircon system, I have had a constantly blewing fuse in my daily driver. Turned out that the wiring loom was in such a position, that it kept rubbing, which chaffed the insulation off.
  4. Was there any signs of tampering or break in? There's this wire in my car which I put in, everynow and then, it just falls down. maybe it was just loose and fell down over time?
  5. My r33 abs unit doesn't have a normal looking bleed nozzle on it either. i too would be interested in how to bleed it.
  6. I did not find that funny at all. He basically made fun of every single car in the lot, stock modified everything. Stock he says is shit, modded, he says is shit. I could stand there all day saying stuff about his ugly head and it would be more funny.
  7. Hahaha, nice one west.
  8. Can I ask how much you paid for the car? Did you jump on the bandwagon and buy a cheap one?
  9. In that case, you'd be wrong if you're in NSW where this group buy is located. look at the legislation.
  10. Didn't you have this at 550 firm before? I have 2 questions: 1. is the flip motion motorised? 2. is it touch screen for the RGB input?
  11. ANything is fine for drifting. You might wanna run something decent on the front though to maintain grip. Wanlis do put out some nice smoke.
  12. rb20s are cheap as chips. I bought one for $700 including everything. It's still running in my boat.
  13. sII for tha win! Winnah PS: nice wheels.
  14. I've tried to use an rb20 ecu on my rb25. I was looking to do a remap. The rb20 ecu had the rb25 maps loaded onto it. IT just wouldn't run. It idled like shit even with the rb25 maps. I remember reading somewhere before in the pfc threads that the ecus have slightly different wiring and require some modification.
  15. It's not worth it to turbo your na unless you really want to. There have been many threads on this. you'd be better off dropping in a turbo motor. Also, aftermarket turbo on an na motor is also probably even worse. the na motor is probably only good for 7-8psi (stock turbo) since it's a high comopression motor. There's no point gettign a big turbo if you will only end up running 1 psi to have it flow the same as the stock turbo at 8psi (it won't even run at 1psi anyways).
  16. I'd say only do it if you have a bit of experience iwth removing tough bolts. You need to feel the bolts so that you know to only remove it if it's willing to come out. If not, more wd40/penetrene and let it sit. Also, if you have a mechanical mind, then you should be right. e.g. look at the engine, yep, this needs to come out coz this is in the way, etc etc.
  17. I'm having a car done atm in black with a purple pearl. PS: don't go cheap on the respray. Black will look shit if it's painted badly.
  18. The best you can buy at auto shops is probably the Kenco Tyvex car cover. When I bought my first one, it was $150. I think they're around $100 now. I must warn you though, it will scratch your car. My car is black and had fresh paint. I used to wash it every time before I put the car cover on (I only drove it about once every 1-2 weeks). It put swirlies in the paint (not happy jan). So I'd rather leave it out to the sun than put a cover on. I've got a garage now anyways. Your best option is probably one of those carports from supercheap auto for $2-300.
  19. I changed my name, but it's still me. the reason is, because they are HID. a HID globe is almost 300% as bright as a halogen. So even though relative to a reflector, the light may be less/same whatever, they an agfford to lose some light for the more accurate cutoff.
  20. I'd put my money on a jap engine lasting longer than a bogan holden or ford engine.
  21. basically, your assumption is incorrect. I would not go there. Plain dangerous, illegal, etc.
  22. as i said above, you have to use the strings to make it follow the curves, otherwise it just looks flat/uncontoured. i also used contact adhesive.
  23. Sir D, I totally agree with you on that one. for some reason, nissan feels that the reflectors are better than projectors. For halogen lighting, they might very well be right. All the r32s/s14/s13 with the projectors have absolutely shit light output. The r33 reflectors actually have pretty good light output compared to the r32 ones. PS: My gtr lights are almost here. woohhooo. then comes the hardbit - trying to fit them. I might have an excuse to get gtr front bar, bonnet and possibly even guards just to fit these lights on. lol
  24. head over to supercheap auto. they're really cheap for a multi plastic one.
  25. I feel for you mate. Tonight, I just had a hairy moment in my daily driver. the car has very low traction. it's a death trap. I was just driving along, I adjusted my position in my lane, then boom, the car was sideways and i was steering for my life. I hit the kerb. nothing is visibly broken, but this car is getting sold asap.
