^I have factory cruise, & it's crap for a few reasons including: -You can't the set cruise control over 110kmph. And this is a big problem if you've got aftermarket wheels and the rolling diameter is different to stock. PLUS many speedos are out by at least 10% from what I have heard. -Factory cruise control has an ugly radar grille. -Sometimes the radar detects invisible cars and turns itself off with a BEEP noise. Then the cruise control will not work again until the car has been turned off, then on again!!

Same thing has happened to my electric seat, though it's harder to reach under my seat and give the motor a tap with a screw driver whilst the seat is still bolted to the car.

Hey Duncan, was it difficult to splice in & get accurate? My speedo is approximately 10% out as well, which is a PITA for me, with 110kph limited factory cruise control

Spotted a silver Series 1 (260?) on Pennant Hills Road near the freeway entry on Saturday afternoon. Gave them the nod, got one back. I'm around 2cm shorter than you with a fat ass (it's a birth defect) and can honestly say, I haven't encountered this problem you describe. I have my seat all the way back, as low as it goes, and with a bit of lean (but not full blown gansta). My girlfriend says 2cm doesn't make a difference. Re-positioning the mirror sounds like the easiest alternative, providing you can get it off OK?

^When my petrol light comes on, there's usually 15L left in my tank (assuming it's 80L?). When there's about 10L left, some nice Japanese lady invades my speakers to let me know it's getting near empty. She sounds hot. Picked up a factory wing from the wreckers. I don't think I'll get it resprayed to match my car. I think the black looks okay, considering the other black adornments on the car. IMO, not worth the hassle of paint matching it. Also, replaced the factory double DIN stereo fascia for a two single DIN fascia. I'm not 100% happy with the fitment, but it was a rush job as I was going away for the weekend. A few problems: Storage bay clips were snapped, so put in a self tapper to stick them on. As you can see from the pic, the end result isn't great. Also, my new head deck front plate doesn't come down too easily to reveal the CD player. AND the factory screen gets stuck when trying to pop it up I will just leave it up for now.

Very nice work. How did your replacement stereo fit in the slot? I did mine on the weekend, and I'm not 100% satisfied with the fit, but was in a rush at the time. Now ceebs taking everything apart again. Lucked out as in have an Nissan fascia, with nicer AC control buttons. I was going to look into ordering an aftermarket fascia, but the AC controls are apparently a bit dodge.

i have an integrated non-bose stereo in mine. I lucked out on the weekend and salvaged a single din + storage compartment fascia. Does anyone have a wire diagram, so as to save some trial and error time?
