  1. Nankang NS11 are a cheaper tyre and smoke very well http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brand-New-245-40-18...=item439f844d22
  2. Hi Guys, Im chasing an R33 GTST S1 crank/cam angle sensor, poss the same as an r32 or GTR sensor. Prefer Melbourne or drop off in bayswater. Thanks Luke
  3. Most of the parts are interchangeable. As swiper said, use the rb26 pistons (or forged pistons to suit an rb26) as they have a different pin hight to allow for the longer stroke. You can use the rb25 rods as they are the same length and bearing size, but the rb26 rods are stornger. rb25 balance and crankshaft cambelt drive pulley fit the rb26 crank but you need to buy the rb26 crank balancer bolt and washer as they are a differnt size thread. rb25 flywheel/clutch will fit the rb26 crank. Only clearance problem i had was the oil squirter cut outs in the pistons were not big enough, 10min with a die grinder and that was fixed, but i believe that was just the brand of pistons i used. Cheers NutR33
  4. "This turbo has made the most power out of all the R33/34 high flows there are with 98 RON Fuel" Sorry but i didnt see anywhere in his claims that it was the highest power figure on an RB25 or any other motor or level of mods.
  5. This is a very BIG claim that is untrue. My car as a hiflow turbo form Adelaide Turbo Services and GCG and has made 298.2RWKW and couple of years ago and will be going back for a retune in a few weeks. Cheers NutR33
  6. I have used a Nismo shim kit (part no. 3843s-rs521) which is the tighter of the two in an R33 GTR dif in and R33 GTST and it is an awesome upgrade. Before the shim kit it would spin the inner wheel when doing motorkanas and deca days, it would be very unpredictable and would lock and unlock mid corner. With the diff shimmed up it is great on the street and the track. You can roll around a corner with it unlocked, so no clunking or skipping a wheel and as soon as you toch the go pedal it locks up nice and tight. I have done 4 or 5 motorkana days after i did the diff and i have never had a problem with it unlocking. The kit is fairly easy to install ( i did it myself) and comes with jap instruction which i got translated as there is a few measurement need to work out the correct amount of shims needed ( i have 1 spare one left over). PS i tried turning the orginal nissan friction plates around before i put the diff into the car and this was still no good. Cheers NutR33
  7. I can help on the stopwatchs on the skid pan in between runs in the arvo if that helps.
  8. Count me in Bec. Sounds like a fun day and its been a while since i have been to the drags. Cheers NutR33
  9. Forms emailed and money paid. Looking forward to this one.......
  10. All the major fuel companies have servos in shepp and most have the high octane fuels. BP on the right coming from melbourne into shepp as ultimate. Both Castrol/safeway petrols on Benalla Rd have vortex.
  11. To make an Rb27 out of an Rb25 you use the RB26 crank, rods and pistons with an overbore of 1mm. The rb25 and 26 rods are the same size (length and bearings) but the 26 ones are thicker and stronger. The main thing you need to make sure is to use 26 pistons (shorter pin to deck height) due to the longer stroke of the 26 crank. its nothing new realy, been done heaps of times before. Cheers NutR33
  12. Done......The 2nd hand caps i brought already had the badges removed so it makes that job easy.
  13. I have a spare set of r34 gtr centre caps now thanks to Tocchi. Just waiting for the word Craved and they will be in the post to you for some testing. Cheers NutR33
  14. Hi people, Im chasing a standert rb25det exhaust manifold that is not cracked. Cheers NutR33
  15. Craved written on the back of an R34 GTR centre cap is >PC+ABS< SAE PC+ABS I can take a pic if that will help. N1GTR, last time i brought a centre cap it was about $80 trade price, part number 40315-AA310 Cheers NutR33

    Engine Crane

My engine crane that i have at home is a Trade Quip TQ1001 purchased from Bursons about 18 months ago for about $400 We also use the same type at work (mechanics) and it has been going strong for about 3 years. Due to its 3 sets of wheels, when folded it is still easy to move around and dosent take up too much room. Link..... http://www.tradequip.com.au/products/produ...php?code=TQ1001 https://www.alltools.com.au/shop/index.php/...1000kg_Foldable looks like the price has gone up a bit, but you can shop around to get it abit cheaper. Try Alltools, Bursons, REPCO, Super Cheap, AutoBarn. Basicaly any tool or auto shop should be able to get one for you. Cheers NutR33 PS I just found this on Ebay, looks excatly the same as mine. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-Ton-Engine-Cherry...id=p3286.c0.m14
  17. Hi guys, Has anyone powder coated their R34 GTR rims and had the centre caps done as well? I dropped my rims off tonight to get coated but they dont think they can do the centres due to them melting in the oven (200 degrees for 20min, i think) and dont want to waste one in the process just to try. Any help would be great...... Cheers NutR33
  18. The one way screws are available from REPCO stores for about $5 for a pack. The pack contains different sized self taping screws and also threaded screws (6 or 8mm, cant rember). They can be removed fairly easy, but would slow someone down enought to think twice about your plates, unless they realy want them (nothing will save your plates then).
  19. When you look into the fuel tank with the top of the tank off you wil see a long white/brownish round tube in the right connor. This is the fuel sender unit and i bet it will be laying/floating around. it should be clipped into the front of the tank beside the fuel pump bracket. You should be able to clip it back in no problems. Mine has the same problem after the last DECA day with a full tank of fuel. Hopefully i will have time to fix it tomorrow and find a way for it to stay there better and get some photos at the same time to post up. Cheers NutR33
  20. Thanks for the respones everyone, picked one up from DFAULT today Cheers NutR33
  21. Sorry N-DAWG but as far as i can work out ABS has 2 lines out and Non-ABS has 3 lines. Thanks Anyway. NutR33
  22. Hi Guys & Girls Im chasing a brake master cylinder for an R33 GTST. It needs to be for a non-ABS car and have BM44 on the side of it with the rear brake proportioning valve still attached. would prefer melbourne, but posted would be ok. Cheers NutR33
