I would slow down and have a decent think at this stage, rather than trying random combos of valve events. pretty much no one sets cams up one tooth out, no one would do 2 teeth out. It is normally in the 4 degree range, which is half a tooth, and why vernier cam gears exist
  2. I am reasonable sure one tooth is much more than 4 degrees., more like 8 degrees on the pulley which is 16 degrees on the crank. That is some crazy adjustments you are making there, pretty brave .
  3. That's some next level spam
  4. And by the way bro, all of the responses have actually been helpful , you pretty much ignored them just chasing the answer you are after, which I assume is that it is an easy fix that you can do. You can't fix it.
  5. Heu man have you true turning it off and on? Yes? that fixed it? well keep doing that. Problem solved.
  6. What answer are you chasing here? It's f**ked. You can't fix it Go somewhere that can fix it.
  7. He would be in America, that's our 98
  8. As above, and just to add bolts will have the tensile rating stamped on them in the head, so no mysteries. Go to bolt shop with bolt.
  9. What are you trying to achieve here? You are not going to hear a hiss when revving Get a turbo whistle.
  10. You need a rwd box, there is no room for a transfer case if you have a look
  11. oil filter for m35 2003 rs awd why didnt you just type that bit into google? or cant you access the internet?
  12. Yeah buy houses with cash like everyone else
  13. From the above info you can calculate it. But..... At what valve opening are those figures? It is probably going to be heaps easier to get the specs of aftermarket cams.
  14. That's a terrible spot for a muffler!
  15. I was going to suggest a thread guy. They will be able to work their magic there. I found the underneath bolts were pretty easy with a 1/4 drive socket and extension.
  16. Taking off the plenum is hardly a huge job you would want to avoid at any cost. How good are you at extracting broken bolts like that? If you have never done it before don't even try. Take off the plenum and do it on a bench. Thank me later.
  17. Find it first, then figure out next steps
  18. You put it into the bin
  19. Nope. No way you need to carry hose clamps. as said fix known issues and you should really be replacing all rubber hoses anyway
  20. Hi, good question. You want " a little more horsepower to the wheels" 'so you need to reduce friction and inertia losses from the drive line. Carbon fibre tailshaft, thinner diff and gearbox oil come to mind. But it's an odd question, most people want to make more power in general, and wouldn't you believe it, in the last 20 years some people have even done so with the particular car you own! what are the chances of that!
  21. That does sound annoying
  22. Why do you care? What's the actual problem?
  23. This head needs to know there is fuel nearby whooshing through the fuel rail on its way back to the tank, so it can be comforted by knowing money has been spent. ??
