  1. Just to be clear, which RX6 does the Cyber EVO use? For some reason I thought it runs a Power Enterprise RX6R which I believe is a different beast to the Apexi RX6...
  2. That claim could end up bring quite good free advertising for Borg Warner and Fullrace
  3. Nice, where did you find the speed info? Shame the car had hg issues, sounds like there was supposed to be a final ace up their sleeve.
  4. Sounds awesome! I will be there next year, started planning already... Going by this year it should be very overeating to see what the next twelve months bring
  5. So did neither HiOctane car end up running EFRs?
  6. How did pro class go?
  7. Another thread including another blown EFR (EFR6258 - which was replaced by an EFR6758), but at least some otherwise decent performance results were measured from both: http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?121019-Aussie-GMAN-s-Astra-G-SRi-T&p=1825669&viewfull=1#post1825669
  8. It used to in the earlier 7s days, for the latest runs its looked pretty straight and apparently the 7.56 it did at Winternats was pretty under control... though will see how it goes when they wind it up a bit more
  9. Lol funny, no actually I forgot (or didn't know?) that. I was just saying a combo I think may also be interesting with similar cost and effort.
  10. At the kind of cost that would involve, and if we were going to talk hypothetical things we'd like to try... I'd consider a DBB T3/T4E 50-trim CHRA to be a combination almost worth shoving into a bolton solution if .63a/r hot sides, big torque and spool and respectable power are your thing. Some might balk at the idea of going a t3/t4, but ancient Mitsi truck turbos are cool right?
  11. Last I heard they were preparing for it, I am guessing they will be there
  12. Isn't there an sr 20 running one there? Also the r32 is running twins
  13. On a GTX3076R? No way. If its laggier than you want to live with, and you can't find anything wrong persay - I'd say you're better off changing the whole turbo. How much are you willing to spend to get it right?
  14. Yep, that sounds much more realistic.
  15. Will see if I know anyone going over, quite late notice to plan transport and accomodation but the closer we get the more interesting an even it seems like it will be. Never been to Oz, should really get around to it.
  16. SSE EVO is looking epic, wonder if its too late to find a way over...
  17. Is consistent with what you've found?
  18. Fingers crossed all goes well, this EFR curse where hardly anything seems to go smoothly (not necessarily anything to do with the turbo/package itself or its delivery, but not necessarily not either) is unreal.
  19. I actually have disagreed with a few of GTScoTs views on the world with all his experience, I too have an interest and experience in all kinds of cars and have been involved with, owned, or directly experienced all sorts of things and a certain amount of it contradicts his view points on things - while I occasionally like to have fun with debates when it comes down to it I keep quite an open and unbias view on the world. I see where he is coming from with some things like that, and agree with much of what he says - but I think to some degree he's exagerrated the truth. This is one of those cases, imho.
  20. Oh no, don't go there. Just agree to disagree.
  21. If thats the case, thats a bit disconcerting given it sounds like the turbo has actually been on the car already I've seen a vid on youchoob of what looked like a Silvia (or some 4cyl) with an EFR9180 doing a 1/4 mile run, got a really poor launch then storms off to a 10.4 1/4 mile.
