  1. Turbotech $22 FTW!! it does just as good a job as the profec b spec
  2. Jason, I realy think a heat range of 6 is minimum even if the car is standard but you give it a good poke. once you raise 1 or 2 psi above standard you need a colder plug.
  3. Give toll a call. www.toll.com.au their pricing is really good and on the whole have only good things to say about them.
  4. I have a fairly big list. fit the parts already on order... splitfires, injectors AGAIN!!! and 4 pot calipers with 396mm rotors fine out the tune not expecting anything more than 230rwkw New parts for the new year. 1 mechanical 1.5 way LSD 2 clutch capable of holding 250rwkw with ease 3 replace gearbox at the same time 4 decent rear rims/tyres that can put down some power with out slippage 5 put an akubra on the back parcell shelf 6 buy an XR6 turbo.. jks ...
  5. If it's the 27th I will deposit funds. I think we will need to set a date before most people can be confirmed :0 Sl33KY. just set whatever date and ask for money
  6. Hiya, I think you are asking too much. These wheels are $1400 new in a package from tempe. that includes 4 brand new tyres, wheel nuts and 4 brand new wheels... even if the tyres were only $150 per rim that makes these wourt $800 brand new?
  7. I have a few questions that have not been covered yet. Have a look at the plugs pictured below and you will notice that the plugs are different lengths from the plug seat (top ot the thread where they sit in the head) to the top of the pin that the coilpack connects to. The height difference is approx 5mm. The plugs that came in my R32 were BPR5EIX and were longer than the BCPR6EY-11. I gapped them down to 0.8. The first thing I noticed is when you sit the coil on the new plug it only just compresses the spring at the top of the coil it is not a tight fit. With the older plugs the top of the coil would actually click in and hold the top of plug like an octopus tenticle. I have also tried BCPR6E and have found the same thing. I have chronic missfire if I run over 14psi even with the BCPR6E. and believe it or not with the BPR5EIX-11 platinum plug gapped at 1.1 I have no miss untill 16psi. does the plug height make a difference and has anyone else noticed this? I have splitfires coming very soon and will not change the plugs as they are only 2000k's old and are BCPR6E and see if the coils alone fix the miss.
  8. in my case goes into posative manifold pressure at 2400, 5psi by 3000, and 17psi at 4100
  9. That sickens me. wanker. wanker. wanker. get your sh^t right. an don't EVER EVER EVER call a GTR a pretty car.
  10. Aristo FTW. DAMN fast cars in stock trim. the torque from the 2jz is great. my order would be R33gtst-Soarer-R32gtst-Aristo-R32GTR
  11. The cefiro inlet cam has a longer duration and the exhaust cam is retarded about 2 deg from the R32 cam. ceff afm, coilpacks and ignitor are different. ECU also only has 1 fuel map and 1 timing map as opposed to the skyline. it has 2 fuel and 2 timing maps. If you look at the 2 maps the skyline runs 3 deg more timing and has different load tp scaling.
  12. Cool. streetracing!!! might have to buy a honda and put acura badges on it acura FTW!!!
  13. I have a couple of crappy in tank pumps if you need them. 1 is a VG20det and the other is an rb20de. prob not what u are after but they are heere if u need them
  14. Daveo, I am really happy with it. I have my tune perfect now and its making quite a lot of power at 14 psi it makes 204rwkw and I can't run anymore than that till I get new coilpacks. I have just ordered splitfires and will get them over the next few days. then 18psi will see 230rwkw. Last time it was on the dyno it made 220 on 17psi but was missfiring all over the place. In short I have not had a single problem, drivability is great and the acceleration when it comes on boost is nothing short of JEEBUS!!!
  15. hehe. you can get unconscious once you have purple bruises. That way you won't feel the pain If it is going to be the 13th I will not be able to make it. but I am down for shooting Baconer on his birthday
  16. Nice work champ. you are dedicated to do all that at 4am
  17. That is 100% a VG30DET turbo as it has a straight outlet join and a nipple for the wastegate actuator. If you are going to use it on an RB20 use the RB20 actuator and you will run 12psi. Also If you are able to find a shagged RB25 turbo you can have the compressor wheel and housing from it fitted to this turbo and you will then have a bastardised nissan turbo with all the best bits!
  18. could be RB25 or VG30 single. both have that marking on the compressor housing. does it have a nipple for a boost/cvacuum line? if it does it is VG30det if not it is RB25. Thanks
  19. hehe I ment stock looking even if you pop the bonnet. I call it RB20 Suprise!!!!
  20. Can we have stockest looking OMGWTF power making car?
  21. Hi all. I am urgently after at least 1 gtr injector. one of mine is buggared. please pm me if you have a spare 1 or a few. Thanks!
  22. Hi all. I am urgently after at least 1 gtr injector. one of mine is buggared. please pm me if you have a spare 1 or a few. Thanks!
  23. Ohhh... bad news.. Looks like I need to track down a couple of injectors If anyone has a spare one they want to sell please PM me. Thanks!
  24. From experience (both those turbos have been installed on my car) the satandad hole is more than enough to prevent creep. if yoiu are haning troubles with an RB25 turb on rb25 use an RB20 actuaaor or take off your actuator and elongate the holes or bend the rod to give more preload.
