    Drive Safe

The roof is off because they use the jaws of life so that it's easier to extract people from the wrecks.
  2. I didn't run it as there weren't any rubber blocks to fit under my side skirts for the hoist , plus it ain't fully tuned yet
  3. From GTSBoy: You love the look of it? How much can you see? Just the back bit? Fine. Just keep the back bit of it on the car, put the front bit in the shed, get a new front bit made up at local trustworthy exhaust shop in stainless with nice size centre muffler. Job done. This is the best one
  4. Some cars, but I got busy doing other stuff. Read the replies and look at the pic, there are results...
  5. I get the same thing, for a while now...

  11. Well considering you need a pull type clutch..... Add the cost of a pull to push conversion.

  13. Mesh fixes all gaping holes
  14. Like I said, if you guys pay for fuel system, ecu, ethanol sensor....
  15. Yep, I'll be out at unigroup.
  16. Yeah, needs a final tune still Would be nice haha!! Looking at the vids the engine/gbox shook a fair bit on takeoff so I'm thinking something came loose to cause the idle issue.
  17. Ran down WSID, and got a best of 11.678 @ 122.56MPH 60' 1.846. Next best: 11.744 @ 124.26MPH 60'1.843. Out of the 4 runs I bogged it twice, and the 2 good runs I got excessive wheelspin! More practice at launching needed Car weighed in at 1622KG 1/3 tank of fuel. After the last run though something happened as idle now sits at 600RPM. Still drive smooth, just the idle is way too low. Must of either got a leak under the plenum for idle air control, or AAC is kaput! Update: Well looks like the idle screw managed to wind itself in and maybe a faulty AAC valve, I wound the idle screw out and go a steady idle and put some sealant on the screw so it doesn't move around.
  18. The hose in the fuel tank is a butyl rubber inner and outer, where normal EFI hose for outside of tank is butyl inner, nylon type crap outer and not fuel resistant. Someone decided to use the nylon outer EFI hose in a fuel tank once, I changed a mates fuel pump and found crusty bits of fuel hose and pieces in the tank lol.... The fuel tank genuine stuff is like $120 a metre or so.
  19. Like we have a choice, it was a nice neat car....
  20. Or keep the stock cams, tune to 22-24psi and see how much it makes then. If it's 360+ keep the stock cams..... If you want to push over 390-400 the stockers may need replacing. In the end it is up to you.

  22. Does make more power with less boost. Tough idle. better midrange and topend. Check out the RB26 dyno thread. You'll find my graph (tomei type b) and my mate's Sloane, similar cams, and other similar setups.
