  1. The black thing at the back of the gbox is actually a vibration/shock damper, made of rubber with steel weight. The device looks like some sort of hydraulic controller, with the unit having metal lines coming off a master cylinder of some sort. Never seen someting like that before. You need to follow the lines under the car to see where they go...
  2. Blown a ceramic turbo? or blocked cat.....
  3. Lolz....so basically a wasteland??? Bet you're not helping Steve, hhhrmmmm beers, beers and more beers?
  4. That's the one's! I will have to change the rears again as I just fitted new rear t3 rotors a few months ago and am about to upgrade to the v spec 2 / N1 rear 322mm setup. So spend more money again
  5. The center hat is not cast iron, and usually made from aluminum. There is a couple of kilo difference between the 1 and 2 piece rotors. Mine have the different slots on the rotor so there is no lhs and rhs, same part no. for both sides if you know what I mean.
  6. Same, under 500 for the front 2 discs. At some point I wanted to go to a 2 piece rotor to reduce some weight...=$$$
  7. Usually comes with a suitable throw out bearing and carrier to suit the pressure plate with a full kit... Might have to do some more research
  8. DBA 4000 slotted discs go well with some project mu bspec pads, that's what I'm running.. There are so many options
  9. You said afms are unplugged... stock ecu won't like that.
  10. Reduced and not edited, but you get the idea. My day off
  11. I'd be reckoning that the rear 2 cylinders were running a few degrees hotter due to then running leaner. Running leaner because the stock plenum ends up flowing more air through the rear 2 runners than the rest.
  12. Record clip Is it a squealy starter motor?
  13. 2 weeks for the optima battery in mine to die. Now I just disconnect it if I'm away for more than a week.
  14. 1.5mm restrictors are in the banjo bolts on his braided turbo oil lines. Apparently the garretts have a restrictor built in also, it's in the oil inlet hole where the banjo bolts in.
  15. Pretty sure the calipers have longer mounting legs to space the caliper further out. I hope so, because I bought some hoping they would be like that.
  16. Can't wait to get back to mine too I'm currently in AMAB for 4 months sigh.
  17. some natural confectionary lollies haha. Nice, a tuneable ecu!!!
  18. Wheels would actually be spinning faster by the way.....
  19. You can actually use 1st gear now....
  20. heh heh heh....
  21. 1.2million k's wow! Ball joints would be worth while if it's all apart. Did them on my 32, felt like a nice noise free suspension about $100 or so per joint though. Do the rear subframe cradle and diff bushes as well.
  22. How bad is the thread... You might need to 'bend' the pipe a little so that the nut and threads line up parallel, and if it's not too bad you may be able to dress up the thread with a small file, then lube it with some anti seize. Good luck.
  23. Both are a/c lines. Connect or seal them if you intend to keep the aircon. Heater will work fine without them.
