  1. That's the way they are set up. If you want both on when selecting high beam you need to wire in a relay to run it that way. There is a thread somewhere on how to do it. Cheers
  2. I ended up just elongating the bolt holes. No leaks so I'm happy.
  3. Yeah, had that problem. Fixed it with nice gooey trailer bearing type grease. It's stickier than normal grese so lasts longer and no noise.
  4. Cut the plenum chamber and weld on some trumphets. No probs with running map, tuning is more involved though due to the multiple throttle bodies. Levi's is MAP sensor based. Using a de jetro pfc and getting it tuned to suit should be possible.
  5. Just for a laugh. 1985 honda civic 890kg 1.6l DOHC ZC (not vtech yo) jap spec engine implant. 130HP at the crank from factory. Mods: Extractors rev cut 7500 15.5 down at WSID 100HP atw (75kw) lol at R31 club dyno day Don't have it anymore.
  6. Pretty humbling when you look at your dyno figure and its just 1/3 of what those beasts put out!!!
  7. Couple o teasers.
  8. I just chuckled at the delay in posting times LOL. Slide performance on these forums (SAU trader) had them for sale for $2545 for the pair plus actuators. This was for -5 and -7's.
  9. trust 517 and 518z's are bush bearing and non water cooled. They are a great turbo though.
  10. The -5 is a 360hp turbo with a larger compressor wheel so more lag. The -7 is a 310hp turbo that is more responsive. So -7 = very roughly 250-320rwkw -5 = 330-400rwkw I'm planning to go the -5 due to the fact I just built my engine stronger and I have 2530's that need replacing. There is more info on comparisons of turbos if you do a search. cheers.
  11. Response, you can't go past Garrett 2860-7's, R34 N1 equivalent.
  12. spotted white r33 GTS-t BAR ### on the m4 and turning onto northern rd. we were in the black 180. Gave ya a nod. Also lots of skylines and the guys at the SAU stand at auto salon
  13. Yep, do the diff. R34 is 3.5:1 or so and R32, R33 is 4.111:1 Powersteering setup is slightly different too, and maybe aircon.
  14. Very nice shots there! When mine blew flames it felt like a shockwave lol.
  15. Ha ha didn't see ya, I'm in my own little world! Yeah, spotted Fordy31 in Richmond getting out of the beast the other day.
  16. rb 30 bottom end for more torque down there
  17. +1 here. The noltecs are good and are pretty tough. Also easy to grease up with the grease nipples. Bought mine from UAS a couple of years ago.
  18. spotted slim in the black 32 this arvo past the 7/11 in Windsor
  19. Nah, you did an excellent job!!! No one complained about being hungry!
  20. Will see you then!!! early next year it's on! Dave wants in too! Well done today guys, thanks Unique and all the SAU guys for organising a great day. Ended up getting 354kw on 19psi.....rough enough. Here's a couple of pics, wish I took more lol.
  21. Just like this graph lol!!!
  22. They are great when put on a 180 sx, thats about it!! I have the stockers and they just ain't big enough to do the job repeatedly.... I'm looking at getting a 324mm upgrade kit from UAS and keep the same caliper.
  23. Short answer, yes it will increase neg camber a bit more, and affect toe settings. Generally a good idea to do a wheel alignment following suspension height changes.
  24. Had the tank cleaned out??? It's apparently the biggest killer of pumps, crap in the tank. I had no problem with the sard except: I had put in a sard 280l pump and it didn't flow enough , so I put in an 044 all good.
  25. The black plate in the pic, sits behind cam gears. I dunno about the VCT clearance on the 26 front cover. I know 25's with the VCT have the bump in the cover to clear the mechanism.
