  1. Wow! That's fantastic, what a great project! Haha, this just looks so ........edible
  2. That's awesome! Looks much scarier in real life than it does on Gran Turismo
  3. If using RB25 head studs, RB26 head and RB30 block.. I'm assuming you torque the head studs down to the RB30 workshop manual specs, not the RB26 manual to suit the head or the 25 manual to suit the studs?
  4. Very nice dude, looks like it's all coming together nicely Not sure if I missed it but who's doing the work?

  6. 10mph up on last time! Weapon! Nice work
  7. I don't think you can blame people for being a bit suspicious. Good to hear that your got your car back though, that's great news
  8. I see that the pro engines sump adapters are now being made by "The Real Steel Group" - anyone had any experience with these guys i.e. are they still just as good as the pro engines units? http://proengines.com.au/sumpadapter.html Looks like yours is coming along #@sultanaz, can I ask where you got your adapter plate from?
  9. That long black thing is a slave cylinder. Is the sound coming 'from' there, or 'through' there? Maybe you're hearing a squeal from inside the gearbox?
  10. That does seem low mate, the MPH that is. I would have thought at least 118 to 120 and into the 11s with 325rwkw. Is it a hub dyno or roller? Can you do a power run elsewhere to get a sense check?
  11. I don't think it would "eat" at the wall! I think it just cleans the oil off the cylinder wall which I guess could lead to increased wear on components. But it's not going to eat through the cylinder or anything
  12. How long til this thing's on the road?
  13. Still needs to post updates!
  14. The thing that I'm a bit bummed about is the times (or more specifically, the days) that events are being held this year. This Saturday is a Tuning Day but then there isn't another weekend Tuning Day until August, then another in September - and that's it! Makes it hard for those who work busy Monday to Friday, 8 to 6 jobs Perhaps some of the No Limits events might be the way to go, at least they're late on a Thursday evening generally.
  15. Is your can vented? The discussion above seems to suggest that the can needs to be vented and if not then should be connected back to the intake?
  16. Thanks mate Ah well there's always next time! Haha sorry I should have looked in the profile pic I've only driven at Barbagallo probably 3 or 4 times but am keen to do more. I'm heading up there this coming Saturday actually with a couple of mates for the tuning day, one has a black R34 (#PSIKO) and another in a silver S15 (#VFRegal) - definitely come say hi if you're there spectating (I see your 34 is off the road for a month or two). And thanks very much for posting the membership info too!

    R34s...please!

Great pic J_R32! Here's a meet http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/439379-official-sauwa-sunday-brunch-core-cider-house-pickering-brook-23rd-march/ (disclaimer: may or may not be other R34 GT-Ts in attendance)
  18. Is that including stock RB30 pistons etc? How does it drive (when you're not thrashing it!), as I guess the compression ratio would be quite low with stock RB30 pistons + RB26 head?
  19. No pics for you! haha
  20. I'm heading up on Sat with a couple of mates (S15 + R34). I may not race but will take photos instead Should be fun!
  21. If the legalities of it all weren't a concern, this would work wouldn't it?
  22. I'm keen (will most likely be 2 people)!
  23. So just back on the topic of memberships - if we want to do the Tuning Days, I'm assuming we require the L2 Membership (Racing General Membership)? Where did you guys see that it was cheaper than last year? I had that membership last year but looks as though its still $285 on the website?
  24. Hey mate, I went down on Weds night, was good fun. What did your VX look like? Good work on the times!! I was in one of the silver 32s, managed an 11.1 which I was pretty happy about! Should have come say hi
