here in the ACT they test DB at 3000rpm although some one mentioned 90DB above - the testers here were looking for over 93DB at 3000rpm

Depending on state if the PODS are secured well, it will pass. It does in the ACT. If you like you could put a Cold Air Box over the Pods to cover them.

Personally I don't Brand spankers - $4000 without rubber. If you can locate newies. Every so often they will do a run if the numbers are there. I bought my 18 x 9.5 +12's for $4k last year. Depending on what you want and can afford. You could send the Transmission off and have it modified and strengthened. If your 33 is stock then it's probably overkill and waste of your hard earned cash.
