  1. I’ll need to get some more technical details as I’m not exactly certain. Turbos being sent off next week. Image below of ones prepared last year for a customer. I already have the turbosmart IWG75 actuators on my current -7’s with a 20psi base pressure, so once bolted onto a mildly ported head with some higher lift cams it should make some stout numbers.
  2. I am getting some -5’s upgraded by MMP turbos to bring them into the 21’st century. Ceramic bearings and modern turbine and compressor wheels. Am expecting a combination of better response and a broader power band. Luke is super keen to share his knowledge and see how he can make the turbo best suit your goals.
  3. I’m curious that no one has developed a drop-in 6 Speed synchro gearset for the standard R32 & R33 gearbox. I would imagine that there is a market for strong street gearbox with the Getrag ratios and maybe the Carbon Fibre syncros that are now available. PAR used to do a straight cut dog 6-speed gearset but no longer offer this product. Im interested if there are reasons it hasn’t been done before wether it’s space related or something I’m ignorant of. Seeing so many Getrag conversions are in 32’s and 33’s these days I would see a drop in gearset as being and attractive option to keep the modifications to minimum. Happy to hear all thoughts in this one. Cheers.
  4. Thanks , yeah it’s mostly a street car. If it’s a minimal improvement then I won’t bother. But with the front I really wish I could find the details about moving the LCA mounting holes outwards by 20 mm from memory. Thanks for the comment s guys.
  5. Thanks for the link. Kind of what I’m after but also not. I’ve seen comments about relocating the LCA Mount points and wanted more detail on that if possible. Cheers
  6. Just “Power-Port” the oem inlet. Specialised power porting in Mt.Helen have done them in the past.
  7. Thanks for that but trying to find old theads is never successful unfortunately. thanks anyways.
  8. I’ve seen comments previously about changing the mounting locations of the LCA’s and wanted to get some knowledgeable comments. Front: Moving the bolt location on the subframe outwards by approx 20mm ?? Will the existing holes get welded or just drill out fresh points. Rear: Welding on a dropped mounting bracket the front mounting point fro the rear LCA? Will this cause issues with the alignment of the rear mounting bushes. Car is 90% Street / 8% Drag / 2% Track but 100% enjoyed. Already fitted: MCA XR coilovers, hardrace Castor arms, GKTech rear camber & traction arms. Thanks in advance.
  9. Not sure. I have the stock arangement end was interested to see if anyone had fitted them or if as you mention, may have found the just plainly don’t fit???
  10. Hi, i was interested to see if anyone has fitted Turbo blankets to the stock location twins? Ive seen the below link and it seems a good way to control the heat in that space. https://www.ptpturboblankets.com/collections/t25-t28/products/ptp-t25-t28-turbo-blanket-lava many thanks.
  11. R32 GTR centre heater vent replacement Hi everyone. After looking all over I couldn't find any information about removing the centre heating vent from the R32 GTR other than "just pull it out, it's easy" or " its best to take the dash out and remove from the back" so I have done a quick vid showing how I removed it with some bicycle tyre levers I have. I hope it helps. Click the link. Cheers
  12. Latest update from GkTech today is that these are due to be released on their website next week

  16. Not from what i can find. Garage Saurus has featured these side mirrors on their builds and thye look very similar to the ones on the Calsonic R32. They are smaller than the Gannador Mirrors. But thanks for the reply.
  17. After a lot of searching I can not find any where that sells the Garage Saurus Side mirros as seen on their R32 demo and customer cars. I have had zero response from several direct emails to Garage Saurus as well. Any sugestions?
