What about running a larger tyre? You might have to run 18's though.Might be cheaper than a diff or popping the engine. I have a spare 4.08 but never got to run it as I ran into the same problem as you.
My R33 gtst has run a GT3071R 0.63 for the last 6 years on 13psi with no dramas and has great response. I am not real fussed on all the finer specs but it has got lazier over the last 2.5 years but still pulls hard. When it was on street rubber it was a wheel spin monster Hehe it was very snappy and responsive but did struggle to breath over 6800 rpm it is a great set up but it may struggle to breath up top with a 0.63.
But if you have one already just strap it on see what happens.
O yer I only run pump so maybe the corn juice will help.
I just fitted R33GTST front and rear brakes on my WGC34, I am just running the std master RDA rotors and pads it works and feels great. So much better than the factory cast crap brakes.
I recommend this to all stag owners.
I need money buddy or I would be :-(
Also the fiat is f**ked so I can't use that either. Once I sort this current issue out I will be back with you old fruit,
Wow great stuff, more prep and some recce for next year and give it another crack.
Not that I have looked at entering my 33 but I am amazed you could run it with that turbo set up. What group were you in?
Thanks mate Gtt's come with 17's so I am a bit worried. I might have to stick with R33 gtst brakes they fit under 16's no worries.
Thanks for the info.
Hey mate what wheels are you running with the upgrade? I have a S2 RS RWD and want to fit a pair of gtt front brakes I have. I have sat them inside the std 16" wheels and there is very small clearance but I am not confident that it is enough. Also did the caliper or rotor need spacing to fit centred to each other?
Cheers Ryan
