  1. i know, I was just giving it back
  2. Rb25 thread up further some where
  3. A 9.75 +12 would require the guards to be rolled and possible pumped slightly as well
  4. 265/35/18
  5. each to their own but my first wrx with 231,000kms and the original engine says they can't be that bad
  6. Personally bang for buck the sti has it down pat at the moment and don't be so fast to write them off as an option until you actually drive one, I always looked down on wrxs then one came up cheap and I needed a car so I bought it. Turns out I love them, I even upgraded to an Sti 9 months later (took my time to find the right one) and it's an absolute blast. The Gtr has even been on the back burner for a bit cause I'm enjoying the Sti to much
  7. Forgot to mention I will have a plus one
  8. Yes add me, I'd say the Sti will be the car of choice for the day
  9. speaking of which can we have a Subaru section?
  10. I can't hear anything either but a video makes it very hard to tell, as nizoman said I've got an Sti and it doesn't like being under 2,000rpm or it labours
  11. What time do you believe we will reach our destination?
  12. The passenger door is the easy bit to explain
  13. Don't know but I'm sure if the answer is no they have a way to make your life even more difficult The police only have to think something is a defect in order to write it as a defect, it's your job to prove it isn't a defect to have it lifted.
  14. Are you sure he didn't suspect you had a laser pointer? You did have a bid red round thing attached to your passenger kick panel! Either way this isn't going to fix your defective car, its time to start your parts search
  15. http://www.legalaid.nsw.gov.au/publications/factsheets-and-resources/police-powers
  16. the privacy glass you will need to check the rta rules, I know on vans the rear glass can be completely blacked out but not sure on wagons. I'm pretty sure the rear doors have to comply to 35% though The hid lights need to have head light washers according to the adr to be legal The blow off valve he has no grounds to stand on The exhaust is to be checked at 2/3 of the rev range an must be under 90db including any popping or crackling when the throttle is realesed The intercooler piping isn't an issue unless holes have been cut in order to fit it Put the cover back on the air box and that's sorted Him searching your car is not illegal under nsw law
  17. No because he requires the pollution gear from the r33 to be fitted to it, if he removes the pollution gear from the car then he can be defected for not having that but not for the bottom end being changed. It's the same as fitting an ls3 into a car that had an ls1
  18. Doesn't matter they will still put the engine number onto your rego papers by doing what I said The current rta rule is you can increase the engine capacity by 20% without needing an engineers cert as long as the engine is from the same family as the original
  19. Just go to the local blueslip place and get a change of details done, then go to the rta and get the engine number changed
  20. Love the piece of steel to move the radiator closer to the engine
  21. Better off going diesel, or trade the Mrs in
  22. im getting 10.8/100 out of my wrx and I only drive 5kms each way to work
  23. Subies suck fuel? Who fed you that load of shit? Any way focus or Mazda 3
  24. No one wants the bottom of the range skyline anyway, it would cost more to import it then it would to buy it and would be unsaleable once it got here
