My phone has died midway through last week. I'm home in a few days and will reply to everybody waiting on replies on postage costs and bank details.

Spray some carby cleaner around where you think its leaking and see if the revs change. Only said carby cleaner from memory. Someone might have a better product to use?

Wtb: Gtr Solid Brake Lines
Rowdyr32 replied to nick88's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Mine run the same way but they delete the need for the hard metal adapter line. -
Pictures as requested. I'd take $125 for the lines. Pretty sure they cost me well over $200 to have them made

It was nice to see a clean car listed on the forum for a good price and sold in a few days without all the bs that comes with this forum. I was so tempted with this one. Can't see any popping up as clean as this one for a while. Great buy!

As per the above few opinions. I agree. I drove lot of trackdays back in the day on including DECA's. The car was imported with all of the mods I wanted at the time. Drove it and changed a few things over the years. In the end I never had to replace the engine, clutch, gearbox, diffs etc. All I upgraded was brakes, wheels and suspension in 7 years of owning it. Why buy a stock car when for the same money or 5k-10k more you can buy a car with 20-40k worth of mods done to it. If you don't like certain parts sell them and buy what your after. It doesn't cost much to swap parts. It costs a lot to buy them outright! Lots of you say standard cars are better but you end up with a weaker engine, turbos, clutch, diff etc than a modified car. I don't get your logic as all of your standard parts will break or need replacing due to power restrictions. So your going to be buying the parts anyway and spending money. Why not just buy a complete wisely modified car and drive it instead of it always sitting in a workshop costing you money never being driven. I know which I'd prefer.... Guessing like 99% of GTR owners you won't work on the car yourself so add this up. Turbos installed $3000 PFC, AFM's and injectors $3000 inc tune Forged pistons, oil pump etc $7000-$10000 installed Twin or triple clutch upto$3000 installed 100mm FMIC $1000 Oil cooler $500-$1000 Exhaust $1000-$3000 with dumos Wheels forged 18x10 with good tyres $3000plus Brakes $2000-$5000 Suspension $2000-$5000 Gauges and boost controllers $1000plus Plus all the other little bits and pieces. All so you can have a car worth 5-10k more. Or the other options is as others have said. Keep all the standard parts and put it back to stock as I have done in the past to several cars. The owners were all warm and fuzzy thinking they bought a stock never modified car. The truth was....we all know the answer to that I never buy toys so I can tell my mates about how cool it is and baby them around because I can't afford to have them break.

Attached is a picture of the braided lines still attached to the calipers. They have minimal kms on them. I'm willing to sell them seperately.
-
May consider selling cam, rocker and coil pack covers seperately as a set along with sump/diff and whole complete intake side if anybody is interested.

Turbos SOLD. Skirts SOLD to Doodoo pending pickup Really want the engine and clutches gone. Last few bits!!!

Buy my 26 I have for sale mate for $3500. Then strip your engine and sell it in peices. You'll get around $2k in parts for your engine. Its a cheap and easy fix! All it will cost you is $1500 and a couple weekends of your time. Have a think about it. There used to be a lot of money 5-6 years ago when I used to do it buying cars like yours for 8-9k. Do as I mentioned above and sell them for 15-16k.
