  1. Nope, the fronts are eye (O if you prefer) same as the rear. I have NEVER seen a Skyline R32/33/34 or Stagea with a fork front shock. Front shock Rear shock cheers PS; all of this info is in the Stagea Suspension thread, which is a sticky at the top of the Stagea page.
  2. You live in Victoria There is no BP refinery in Victoria The fuel you buy at BP service stations in Victoria is not made by BP It is either made by Mobil at Altona or Shell at Geelong cheers
  3. After a month (~2,000k's) of running exclusively on Extreme in the R33GTST, I did a fuel filter change on the weekend. Cut it open and no sign of any foreign material, deteriorated fuel hose etc. That means zero effect from the 5% ethanol, as expected. So we will continue to use it. cheers
  4. There is a Group Buy on at the moment (link follows) that includes front and rear camber kits. They are not really DIY as a 10 tonne press is required to remove the old rubber, non adjustable bushes and install new. adjustable polyurethane bushes. Plus a wheel alignment is also required once they are installed. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=85467 cheers
  5. Nuffin’ new Been doing it for years in WA Just drivin’ ‘round with no airfilter The sand will do the job for you Don’t have to buy nuffin’ Save money on airfilters cheers
  6. I like 'em Easy to install Stable boost Simple to adjust via Commander Adjust and log via Datalogit No ricey blue screen cheers
  7. Sorry I am confused, you like the view at Turn 8, but you move around? So the view at Turn 8 isn’t that good? What happens when 20 Germans drop in front of you? 2 metres tall and 120 kgs each, and that’s just the girls. What happens if they want their Schumi umbrellas up to keep the sun off? Wanna hang their 20 metre X 20 metre F’rrari banner? You ain’t gunna see nuthin’ You’ll be cryin’ in you blankie instead of sitting on it. cheers
  8. Go to this page on the BP web site; http://www.bp.com.au/refineries/refineries.asp?menuid=d Read this paragraph; Now tell me again why you think BP is better when it is made in the same refineries as all of the others? cheers
  9. If the wheel offset is correct then they will. cheers
  10. Hi Alex, like you I want the rest of the DAYZ kit, I already have the front bar and rear wing. Let me know if you are going ahead with importing a DAYZ kit and I will share the freight with you for the side skirts and rear bar.. cheers
  11. That's not the problem, the spring rate is designed for a car that has 200 kgs more weight over the front wheels. Ditto the shocks. Preload does not affect the spring rate. cheers
  12. R33GTST springs do not fit R32GTST R33GTST springs do not fit R32GTR R33GTST springs do not fit R32GTS4 R33GTR springs do not fit R32GTST R33GTR springs do not fit R32GTR R33GTR springs do not fit R32GTS4 R33GTS4 springs do not fit R32GTST R33GTS4 springs do not fit R32GTR R33GTS4 springs do not fit R32GTS4 cheers
  13. Measure from the centre of wheel to the guard, front and rear, if standard should be around 380mm front and 370mm rear. The Group Buy kit (link follows) gives adjustment in 8 mm increments between 370/360mm and 330/320 mm. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=85591 For best handling around 355mm front and 345 mm rear is recommended, which is what our R32GTST is; Cheers
  14. Hi, seems like you have received someone elses white pastic bag. They probably have your bump stop and dust cover kit. PM sent to sort it out. cheers
  15. My guess would also be Jumbos, made by Allsprings at Moorebank NSW. cheers
  16. He said SR20 I was just giving him a 4 cylinder Ford equivalent You, I know, would prefer one of these; Cheers
  17. For heavens sake it’s a FORD, put a FORD engine in it. cheers
  18. Please delete this post, its is WRONG and people will read it and believe it. The power steering (inc HICAS) reservoir is in the engine bay, on the LHS inner guard just behind the airbox. The ATTESA reservoir is located in the boot, in the RHS inner guard. They are in no way joined, shared or common. R32GTST, R32GTS4 and R32GTR power steering systems (inc HICAS) are the same. cheers
  19. But that's not the issue, the problem is the corner entry understeer generated by using narrower tyres on the front. In addition you are compromising the braking performance by limiting the front tyre size. The extra width on the rear means using a lower profile tyre on the rear, exactly what you don’t want. A more compliant sidewall is required on the rear for improved power down. Conversely you want a less compliant sidewall on the front for improved steering response. The truth is you should be using 9” rims all round with the same size tyres on all 4 corners. Since you already have 8” rims for the front you need to use the right size tyre for that rim, hence 245/40/17. This then means using the same size for the rear to achieve some semblance of balance. Hope that made sense cheers
  20. Sorry to hear of the loss of life, just plain terrible. Quick clarification of the space saver issues; 1. If the space saver is correctly inflated to its recommended pressure it is quite safe to drive on at a normal pace, not exceeding the recommended max speed of course. Remember 80 kph is the max STRAIGHT LINE speed, not to be confused with doing 80 kph around a 35 kph hairpin. 2. If the space saver is the same diameter as the other road tyres then there is no problem with the ATTESSA or the LSD. It’s all about diameter, the width is irrelevant. 3. On an Easter Weekend I drove from just south of Sydney to Melbourne on a space saver, I had no choice, no tyre shops open on Good Friday. I checked the tyre pressure and temperature at each stop. I had no problem keeping up with Good Friday traffic and the space saver showed very little (if any) sign of wear from its 100 k’s or so of use. A space saver is just as good as any other tyre, as long as it is used within its design parameters. cheers
  21. The R32 RB25DE cylinder head requires oil flow the same as an RB20DET cylinder head. The questions are still the oil pump flow and pressure, the rpm commonly used and the length of continuous time that rpm is used. Plus what work has been done on the oil return system. So it’s not a simple one size answer, it’s more a 3 dimensional table. If I have time I will make up a rule of thumb table and post it in this thread. cheers

  24. If i get away early enough (4am 'ish) I go via Bells, if later than 6am 'ish I go freeway. Traffic is too slow on Bells late in the morning, you don't get the chance for consistent, long loads. Around 650 k's from first start up by the time I get to the dyno for the power tune. cheers
  25. Close but no cigar, you were 2 out, try F3. Qualifying Session #1 CAMS NATIONAL RACING SERIES - ROUND ONE WAKEFIELD PARK RACEWAY http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results....03/2006.WAKE.Q1 As I said, a REAL race car. cheers
