  4. If you are still running air-flow meters, you need to plumb the BOVs back to make the car run properly. no ifs, no buts. If you have MAP fuelling, feel free to go nuts with BOVs that vent to atmosphere.
  5. <edit>
  6. 33 GT-R on Roberts Rd, South Strathfield. Running an aftermarket ECU, judging by the rear bar loser of the day: atmo, auto, series 1 33 with a GT-R badge. give urself an upper-cut, mate most homo numberplate of the day: OMG-16V, omg! it's an 18 year old twincam Corolla OMG BRO! SIIIK!!!
  7. 997 GT3, Marrickville
  8. what format is it? save it as a jpeg and it will result in a dramatically smaller file size, with almost no loss of quality
  9. my guess would be oil control (or lack of it) high-rpm you say? did you do the restrictor mod?- i'd be 99% sure you've killed your bearings due to oil surge; either through too much oil up in the head, or cornering too hard on a standard sump. tell us more about the last build-up (capslock off, please...)
  10. lulz sif Webber will ever be offered a drive at Ferrari
  11. like, say, a 32 GTSt into a GT-R minus the wing? just kiddin', your car is teh sexeh...
  12. nup, all the greys are warranty-less; but are race/demo cars anyway
  13. All good and well- But doesn't the O.B.D function log all the engine parameters for any suspect running conditions?
  14. still blows me away there are big-single turbo'd RB26 powered GT-R's that can't manage that
  15. i was drinking alco'a'hol last year (this year too, as it turns out) i'll be quiet now...

  18. whoa back a sec- what about the drivers whose daddies just pay for them to have a go? Pedro Diniz, anybody??...
  19. Compak Attak today- Man, I'm so in love with R35's it's not funny; they look amazing in real life Just in case you doubted the aluminium construction of the doors, they even have little 'Alcoa' stamps . That aluminium spike slots into the body of the car, and I guess locks into place on the move No car magazine has bothered to take a shot of the sill trim plates yet, but they were another cool detail. Featuring a scaled-down GTR badge and wicked blue backlighting. Nice. These things are just to die for- They look and feel incredibly well made (setting aside the class-crushing performance for a second); from the quality of the leather- even on the dash and console, the funky billet door handles, to the solid feeling titanium gear shift paddles with (yet more) leather inserts on the edges. Just can't wait 'till the day I get mine...
  20. 11.1 and 126mph from a car that weighs 1740kg, and has had no mechanical changes, is nothing short of staggering. all hail the new king of performance cars
  21. i don't really remember any of the Datto bush-bashers back in the day having engine bays quite that nice ....
  22. Will be interesting to see if Nissan Au can indeed get their act together before the end of the 18 months from the Japan on-sale date. Given how the UK media outlets (everyone check out the latest issue of EVO) have been raving about the way the R35 slays the much more expensive competition; demand for the car is sure to well out-strip supply. With the on sale date for the U.S being this July, and the U.K and Europe next March, It'll be interesting to see if Nissan HQ actually reserves any cars for the Australian market as planned. Here's hoping they make 'em wait juuust a few days or weeks too long
  23. yep- about 10 secs, actually anyway- i got the R35 time wrong: it's done 1:01.something's with the factory Bridgestones. so does that mean a fully modified R35 will be 7 seconds quicker than the most track-prepped 32 imaginable? gee, those old 32's sure do suck ass...
  24. do you know 'em? it says it was 'closed door' anyway... bring on c.a tomoz
