  1. $100?? seriousy tho how bout a ballpark price...
  2. How much??
  3. No idea, but i've heard emissions testing can be expensive.. just do what i did and fit up a blocking plate where the bov sits to clear the defect, then refit it again afterwards if you wanted. No point arguing with them because its not worth it.. My inspection was pretty thorough, the guy at darra even ripped open my boot trim looking for "nos gear"

  5. I just cleared my defect, the inspection station at darra does do db testing to compy with ADR rules, at least they said so when i asked them.. If anyone gets done for a MOMO wheel like i did pm me and i can give a copy of a letter from an engineer that speaks for roman autotek (aussie importer of momo) that says momo wheels are legal, saved me hundreds because i thought i was going to be forced to buy a new one... Defects suck, i got pulled over on a sunday morning, by myself, driving at 50kph.. Its cost me over $800 and f**k knows how much running around before hopefully i'm clear of it (sent the final paperwork in a couple of days ago) While i was at the QT inspection station they asked me "mate you shoud get a copy of our pamphlet on modifications", to which i replied "i already do, but funny thing it doesn't mention anything about pod filters and bov's, one of the most common mods you can do,whys that???" they didn't like that...
  6. Ah, wasn't me then..
  7. I have a white 33, and was at redcliffe 2day - what do you mean by under the movies?? i guess if i dont know it wasnt me
  8. Hey boosta I for one like the flares- never seen that sort before, makes it more individual IMO
  9. Doubt it.. if they ever questioned you just deny all knowledge. I'd actually try the warranty place first- maybe you can score a set of coilpacks out of it if they say the ones in the car are faulty.
  10. Nevermind- sorted it. Had to remove the steering column shroud to get it back in..
  11. Hi, Trying to put the dash trim back on on my r33 (the bit that covers the gauges and wraps around to the radio, a/c stuff etc.). When i try to put it in it seems to be about 5mm too far to the left, and hence wont clip in- its fouling on the lhs of the steering column where in order to get the whole trim to go further to the right, i need to push it in, but i cant because in order to push it in i need to go further to the right Is there any trick with these?? Anyone had the same problem?? I"ve just spend the last hour trying to get the f**ker in Any help would be appreciated.
  12. I thought you already ate all that hash urk
  13. I like this one
  14. Southo has a 2J not a 1J, and the exaust isn't stock, just well thought out
  15. Hahaha was that you're own work? Except for a couple of typos its pure gold mate
  16. Why not just pull the hose off and measure the diameter?
  17. Still looking for the section of pipe to replace the one below. I want to remove the blitz bov and go back to stanard, and would like the standard pipe: Any offers?
  18. Price of front and rear trims, pickup. (i'm working at toowoomba for the next few weeks).
  19. Whos dirk again?? do you have his email address?
  20. Dont worry erin. It seems obvious that you do alot for this club and you shouldn't be apologising for things out of your control. I'm happy to wait Incidentally can i get a fax number to send my membership form to? Cheers, -Isaac.
  21. Avoided it fortunatley, was working in pindara at the time (pindara private hospital). I think thats near benowa (even if thats a suburb or whatever? ) One of the guys that works in the lab got hammered in his new lantra, not a clean panel on it. Also saw a brand new camry covered in damage, and a smashed rear window. Another guys missus' car (toyota cressida) got totalled.. When everyone started talking about hail i was shitting myself....
  22. Motorvation are good guys. but before you say it no i didn't buy my car through them, bought it privatley, but if i had more cash i would have gone through them. BUT i dont think they like RACQ inspections... at least they told me 'anywhere else but there'
  23. OMFG THANKYOU for sorting that out....those clips have been a four year mystery for me. I've seen them on a few cars me or my family has owned over the years. A couple of XF falcons i had BOTH had them, i couldn't figure out wtf they were for.. now i know
  24. Hmmz that might work out quite well cos i'm looking at getting a standard airbox but it doesn't come with the snorkel.. I'm going to be out of town (and hence away from the net) till this coming friday, will update then with whats happening. Thanks for the offers everyone, as i've said before I would prefer to buy these parts, but will certainly pay people for their trouble to loan them instead if i cant find anywhere to buy them first.
  25. Hmm...maybe its reverse pyscology then, get the most modified car around, with plates that say "pull me over, i street race" ( not that i'm saying you do ) and they stay off your back.. interesting Guess you've been lucky..or i've been unlucky...or a combination of both Anyways back to topic - awesome car. 'nuff said B)
