  1. i dont think it would matter to be honest a few of the GTST guys use the ford falcon EL 02 sensor (i have one too) in their GTST so thats using an NA style 02 sensor in a turbo car - it should be the same and no problems so i would just go for the GTST 02 sensor
  2. have you driven HKSGTR ?
  3. oh sorry dude - i assumed 33 gtst - my bad daniel you do it with a timing light
  4. mashed ! - nice one thanks for posting for others to learn from
  5. hi jason this sounds correct - if its wrong the solenoid wont ever open which will mean unlimited boost so be careful when checking & testing and just watch BOOST on the hand controller to ensure its done correctly
  6. check base timing ?
  7. camber kit, castor kit, diff cradle kit, bushes was about $1100 installed from memory
  8. go see a suspension place about the tyre wear you need some camber to align it properly youll need a diff cradle kit to stop axle tramp too some bushes will probably help with handling too most mild gtst's go for 255's on the rear
  9. yeah i cant wait - will be great to get out and move to somewhere new to be honest - i dont have a place yet - still looking i just needed to get out of there and take some time out to relax ive got a packet load of leave owing to me so ive got like 2 months pay in the queue had an interview last week and another promising one coming up next week
  10. yellowpages.com.au
  11. look into a diff cradle kit to stop axle tramp look into some better tyres but try it once the turbo is fitted and tune is done etc then see if you need more traction etc- i bet you will
  12. hey ya'll after 7 years ill be leaving dodo in 3 weeks - onto new and better things for the greater good!! i will be having a leaving dodo drinks party some time soon - will let you all know watch this space for party details
  13. as i said before - lateral acceleration and weight is the main factor here dont read too much info magazine plotted numbers and graphs etc. the gtst will run 4.11 diff gears and weight less - so it has more rapid acceleration the r8 or whatever probably has taller diff gears (3.7 ish) so less acceleration, more top speed and weighs more so on the dyno plots it looks the same or stronger but on the its a different story
  14. great turnout - thanks to all of those who helped organise the day and set it up good meet some of the new members too, i was the guy with ash on the bbq (im in the orange autosalon shirt) lots of good cars and a wide ranges of results. even some mid 300kw cars which is good if anyone has any questions on what the info on their dyno sheet means or what the curves actually tell you post up and we can provide advice/help and recommend changes to make the car perform better, etc etc.
  15. as in all wonky and jagged? it almost looks like broken mesh
  16. as i said stop reading into the figures and just drive the car when its done be sure you have your suspension sorted out otherwise youll struggle for traction yeah my 0 to 100 was with the stock turbo
  17. theres a few things that give away the fake unit if you look closely the finish on the fake one is more coarse - on the legit one its nice and smooth and clean the label on the fake unit is more crooked and the numbers in black arent straight - they also look fuzzy - ie: its been scanned and printed on the mesh on the fake z32 is very different to the legit one
  18. yeah should be - i managed 0 to 100 in 4.88 in my gtst with a perfect launch and good tyres that was with the rev speed meter and g sensor kit so it should be reasonably accurate ish your reading too much into specs and numbers on paper dude dont stress the car will be very fast on the street even with the std turbo and a good setup the gtst is a pretty quick car
  19. looks legit - here is what a fake one looks like; http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/photo...z32/page_01.htm
  20. a well setup GTST will take down a new clubsport no problems lots of things come into play when going against another car diff gears also play a big part - you'll be fine i was able to take down a 2000 ish model R8 297kw ute with my 200rwkw and stock turbo and well setup GTST the specs are here http://www.highperformancetrucks.com/truck..._view.php?id=48
  21. hi shane fuel economy and complete tune issues are covered in the faq - have a look at the top for the document index it covers the issues you are having with poor fuel economy. what injectors do you have? do you have stock ones? i see no need for %130 correct on std injectors maybe the tuner had some alternate strategy but most tuners dont touch injector correction unless larger injectors are fitted
  22. happy birthday have a good one
  23. look here and see for yourself http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...no-t103095.html
