  1. the torque will be foot pounds or neutons instead of neuton meters as the others have said 1. check afrs on the tune 2. use 98 ron 3. change the exhaust 4. more boost 5. post your ign and inj maps if you like
  2. nothern differentials - these guys as posted above Address 47 Cooper St Campbellfield VIC, 3061 Australia Get directions Contact Details Ph: (03) 9303 9246 Other: (03) 9303 9246 Fax: (03) 9303 9247 * Email business link icon [email protected] * Email friend link icon Send to a friend
  3. taken from; http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/docs/...powerfc-faq.htm Ford Falcon XF Throttle body with the PowerFC Some owners upgrade the standard Skyline GTST single throttle body to a larger unit. A common donor for this part is the Ford Falcon XF Throttle body. The problem with this swap is the throttle body opens backwards on the XF unit so the TPS signal wont match. You need to use the Nissan RB30 TPS sensor which is the same as the standard skyline one and works with the XF unit. 4. there's a great place on cooper st just near thomastown i think it is ill find the name - they pulled apart my active lsd and tried to diag / work out why it was being homo
  5. its probably ok - fit the fuel pump first though
  6. you have pm and check fuses - you might have shorted something
  7. change the fuel pump
  8. yep remap it - it will make more power, be more responsive and use less fuel
  9. airflow always increase - look at someone's ljetro AFM logs and check the AFM value - it always increses to redline - map will run to the ceiling value of "boost" and stay there just found this from the apexi documentation; Source: Apexi Documentation 80m RB25 airflow meter can measure up to approx. 300ps (221kW) 80mm VG30 airflow meter can measure up to approx. 500ps (368kW) 90mm VH41 airflow meter can measure up to approx. 400ps (294kW) *Output is calculated off of measurable air volume
  10. haha you crack me up dude
  11. birthday happy have a good one and see you soon all the best
  12. yeah you can use BNR34 djetro PFC if you like but youll have to adapt it to the 25t NEO - it will need a few changes and some custom mods to make it work ask a workshop how much to make it suit 25t NEO
  13. ive got a q45 afm at home will check the serial # and post it up
  14. thanks - let us know ive had a few guys come to me using the q45 on mid size gt30+ setups and they max around 260kw it hits the ceiling pretty quickly in the rpm range, like around 4500rpm so its not a std Q45 ceiling that i would expect
  15. hey gary can you get us the serial # from this 400rwkw Q45 and also a photo if the label? i think there could be two types of Q45's going around, one is poo and maxes around 250rwkw and the other is OK and goes past 400kw
  16. see you all there
  17. good work chief - happy birthday all the breast take it easy and see u tonight
  18. try the FC again and check the connector
  19. nah i thought it might have been 2nd hand ie: someone else's tune and wierd settings on it try stock ecu and confirm car works ok
  20. make sure the rebuild light works....
  21. jsut checking - to be sure, to be sure put the stock ECU back in - confirm it runs Ok and isnt mssing/ running on 4 cyclders then if its OK and stable etc open up the FC look for burnt tracks or damaged components is the FC new or used ? did you do factory DATA INIT before starting the car ?
  22. who knows it might be one of those magical "400kw" q45's until you try it - youll never know haha ash ran a vanilla GT30 with z32 and went past 360kw and didnt max the z32 so you might be ok
  23. yeah back 2 years ago 400rwkw was no problems on the q45 range then all of a sudden we had a bunch of dudes who couldnt go past say 250kw around that power level they would ceiling hit 5v and no more resolution so not sure why or how - maybe a wrong batch of q45s or something - unsure i dont think anyone on the forums has seen "official" proof of a q45 over 300rwkw if it was me and my car i would go z32 relocated in the cooler piping i dont think youll max it out and if you do it will be at some insignificant rpm what turbo are you using ?
  24. yeah your thinking of the HKS vein pressure converter - its an inline remapper to let you use map sensors on an AFM style car its only supported on the Z32 300zx so it wont work on rb25det neo etc, unless your up for custom hacking etc. the q45 is a bit of a mixed bag, some claim over 400kw some claim they cant go past 250kw with it and the z32 works so much better so not sure- its a mixed bag as i said. the problem with the q45 is that its 90mm so you have to change a ton of crap to test / use it so if you try it and its poo youve just adapted all your pipe work etc to suit the 90mm only youll have to change it back to 80mm etc i would try z32 in the cooler piping and see how that goes or even inside larger diameter piping using larger diameter piping with the hot wire inside it can give it more resolution , but you need to be careful its not a backyard job also if you max the afm at say 6500rpm then its OK its only when you max the AFM at say 4000rpm that its sucky and even then, it will work just like a map sensor djetro style ECU, run along the horizontal load axis
  25. safc is a piggyback fuel computer a- about $350 tuned and installed you dont need to change the AFM and you cant without changing the AFM safc should do the trick
