  1. its the same solenoid and sensor. if anything more people have more sucess using the powerfc boost kit over the avcr. a lot of people have issues with the avcr. i dont understand why, but they do. the powerfc boost it spot on. dial in boost, set duty and save. nothing more, no crap to fiddle with. check out SENSOR SW CHECK, anything in black ?
  2. cooler pipes or the silicon joiners somehow?

  11. well it would have been much more useful to list the mods you had in the first post. it certainly would have eliminated a few guesses. what does knock show when you see this problem?

  14. Thanks for all of those who attended this event. Thanks to Meridian for hosting this event for us, and the organisers also. The night offered a quick insight into who Meridian Motorsport are and what they can offer for club members including the more common aspects such as suspension setup, engine management, roll cages, cams required safety gear and other track/race orientated equipment. Discounts were also offered on their merchandise and parts for those who attended the night, so if you didn't come you missed out!!! Meridian Motorsport also stock the following in their workshop/showroom; Racing Seats & Harnesses Motec Engine Management (and accessories) Oil Coolers and Kits Fire & Safety Equipment Racing Suits, Gloves, Shoes, Belts etc Race tools, measuring equipment and guages Fittings, Bands, Clips, Clamps They can assist customers with basic track requirements and safety aspects to full race car builds, with cages and engine/ecu builds
  15. do a search on rich and retard, you are encountering excess airflow protection it sounds like.
  16. it could be one of two problems you are seeing. the first one is compressor chuffing or shuffling, where you can hear compressor surging at idle and low rpm, it sounds like talking into back of a fan or a vl turbo style flutter between each of the turbo's. this is commonly associated (that we've seen) with bov changes and/or custom intake piping. the other one that comes to mind is compressor wheel chopping. my gtst does this. as its coming on boost you can hear like a slicing noise, a bit like a hi speed food processor in coleslaw mode. ive had this since day 0 and a few other gtst have this same behaviour. i dont think its a problem, just an induction noise based on the compressor wheel
  17. you can also pay an extra price to GCG to have them send you a hiflow and then send yours back in once they are swapped, so the downtime can be a few hours instead i think you need a $1000 deposit, and refund once turbo's are swapped over
  18. its only fractionally larger, like 10rwkw max
  19. be sure to do the self learn before you go fiddling
  20. surge and lag city either get a normal hiflow or pick up an off the shelf garret unit i would recommend gt2871 56t which is basically the hks gtrs
  21. a hiflow with gt30 internals is a bad idea
  22. mmhg, its been covered a thousand times before 700mmhg is 1 bar which is 14.7psi
  23. love you long time
