  1. Hi There, Like I said on your facebook post, the V35 sedan windscreen is identical to the M35, so it might be worth seeing if that throws up any more options in the UK. The cold pack thing is just down to the heating elements in the bottom edge of the windsreen, so push come to shove, probably not so important. Only real issue between my origional JDM windsreen and the AUS made V35 replacement, was the lack of the blue tinted section at the top... Again, something I could live with.. Other suggestion, might be if anyone in Europe has imported any of the Infiniti G35 (2002-2007) sedans or order one from the US though Infiniti there. It would be a stock part for them. Good luck with your search!!
  2. Same as my V36... D bit sluggish.. DS, sharper, holds to the redline and cuts out 7th Manual...
  3. 2.7% according to my calculations... So should be okay over 3km, but take it easy.... You might also want to drive around with a speedo app open for a while as well, because with the 245/45R18s on vs. the 225/45R18s, you will be going that little bit further for each rotation. So your speedo will also be another 2.7% wrong as well... But enjoy the new tyres... I ran Eagle F1 directionals on my ARX and loved them
  4. I belive the V36 updates for English, are not a software update, like it was on the V/M35, but is actually replacement hardware, such as the screen and the brain, from an Infiniti so converting from JDM to global spec unit.
  5. Showing off because your car is new enough to have factory USB....
  6. As in getting the retro fit AUS Infiniti set up into your 2011 V36? Is that more straightforward, as your car already has the hi res screen and newer USB inputs etc.?
  7. Tear a hole, or punch a hole straight though the car to allow for internal adjustment, when the shock mount collapses... These cars are wagons, hence the wagon rear suspension, and many of them are used and loaded like wagons.. Is it really worth the risk? Would they also technically need an engineers cert given that the type of suspension is being changed to non OEM?
  8. Mine ran on the stock turbo with Scotty intake, but stock dump, for more than 5 years without any turbo issues... Kept it on a diet of regularly changed full synthetic 10/40 and good quality filters. Also dumped the K&N for a paper based airfilter to keep the air flow sensor honest... Always had the "new turbo" fund ready just in case, but in the end was able to use that addition spend on my 370GT sedan rather than buying the 350GT I had budget for...
  9. Still sitting in my garage.. Local mechanic is relocating to new premises so will be over there when the lifts are all connected and working.. Should be in the next 2 weeks..
  10. Yes that rasp and the volume does seem to indicate a complete absence of any baffles and sound absorbing materials... The sound is litterally just bouncing around the pipes...
  11. Is it the socket for the optional MD or CD autochanger?
  12. There was none... Was able to use bluetooth device clipped to sunvisor without any problems before and after changing the mid section. I ran it with the coupe mid section for a couple of years and around 25,000km. Sold the car with it, and pretty certain that the guy who bought it also left it on there.
  13. This is actually a stock V35 coupe mid section joined to the stock M35 rear muffler... The stock V35 sedan/M35 Stagea is about 10 times bigger... It is a cheap change quick change over that is a tonne lighter and does make it sound a little bit nicer than stock... And yes, I did this mod... :-)
  14. Just checking.... What DVD player are you refering to? Do you mean the DVD ROM drive for the Japanese sat nav?
  15. Got one in the end on eBay from someone in the US. About 15% of the price quoted by Nissan for a new propshaft.. As my mechanic says, even if this one is also too worn out, which it does not appear to be, it gives them one to send to their supplier so he can physically match one against it. from his stock/supplier.
  16. Pads and discs are sitting in my garage... Will get them, and the used, but better condition than mine, propshaft doughnut coupling bought from the US, fitted in the New Year..
  17. As of Jan 2006, so ten years today!!, all speedos must read within 10% of true road speed, and must not under read... That last bit was the new part of the rule..Before then it was 10% either way.. 2005 compliance Volvo made me find these rules out...
  18. I do indeed mate... With the twin piston calipers. Not like the 350GT Sedan which came with a 330mm disc, but only single piston calipers.
  19. Gave up on car speedo's years ago... 4 fines in 1 week in a Volvo, real one XC90 not my Stagea, that had an under reading speedo was a big lesson for heavy footed driver in the family.. Now rely on Mr Garmin and Mr TomTom...
  20. Maybe but for a road only car they felt that the T2's were a better option value wise... They did ask a lot of questions about what I was going to use the car for, and like I said they talked me out of ordering T2 discs and upgraded pads for the rear... So quite honest I thought.
  21. Okay got the fronts ordered, was told no need to upgrade the rears, just for the sake of fitting slotted dicss on a street car.. So DBA2308S | DBA Street Series T2 Slotted Brake Rotor and DB1696HPX - QFM HPX Brake Pads on their way from Queensland, with no additional cost for shipping... Price was so good, even ordered some Dot4 fluid...
  22. Yup, but the Akebono's are a straight swap, as long as the wheels can still clear the front calipers...
