  3. g'day mate, the only thing that was used from a GTR was the cams themselves (unless my mechanic put something else in and didn't charge me for it! - not likely...) Waz.

  5. well some people may remember my blue R32gtst at the dyno day at Selectmaz and how it was pinging on the dyno. i was quite dissappointed with this and set out to fix the problem... here's the symptoms i had: - car pinged on the dyno - car had a slight miss at idle which got worse as the car got warmer - car stalled at low rpm sometimes inthe first 5 mins of driving what do you think the problem was? could have been a number of things explaining the above symptoms, and they were not necessarily related... let's see how the armchair tuners go here cheers, Waz.

  7. rims: the tyre factory. they are pretty cheap with tyres so i assume with rims also. there is one on nepean highway next to southland
  8. check out: Performance Jap Specialist 4B merri court, campbellfield 9357 0658 ask for Prassana and tell him that Warren with the blue R32 sent you he has about 4 r33's in stock (along with 180's soarers and 300zx's) and is very reasonable priced. i'm not sure about finance but it can't hurt in asking him there is always new cars coming in and he is very trustworthy (my brother bought his 300zx TT from him) good luck!   9. davor, if you want to keep resale in mind then i woudn't go for yellow or green because no one is really going to buy it later down the track. why not a dark blue or something that is fairly popular? or if you can afford it the dark purple from the R33gtr is absolutely gorgeous!

  13. spot on... also, when you are stopped and press the hold button in, the car takes off in 2nd gear (to prevent wheelspin in slippery conditions) welcome to the auto r32 club
  14. my fuel pump is dying i need some help as to which pumps physically fit and flow equal to or greater than my stock pump on my R32gtst having done a search, i came up with pumps from the following cars that people have theorised fit and flow well... - GTR fuel pump - VL turbo pump - VL pump - R31 pump - Z32 pump BUT what i need is people who have fitted these pumps and can confirm that they flow at or greater than the stock pump, and whether or not the size makes fitting a problem? (post flow rates if you have them ) what does everyone think? obviously i am after a cheap option, preferrably new, but really don't or won't ever need any mroe than about 150-200 L/hr... can i buy these new or a direct replacement one from repco/bursons? any help at all on this area (even if you think its irrelevant, post it!) will be really appreciated as this is one area that i have no idea about! cheers, Warren.

  22. sorry to bring up an old thread, but is this also a straight fit on the r32gtst? what about the vl turbo fuel pump? straight fit? what about r31 aussie version fuel pump? it looks like my fuel pump is on the way out
  23. aaargh! my experiments at uni are up the shitter and i think i will be here all night... if i finish in time i will hoon down. what time will people be there 'till?
  24. take out the air vent on the RHS of the steering wheel and chuck it in there...
  25. stock-ish... dump pipe, fmic, and gtr cams only at my stage, the only real power is coming from dump and cams but i expect a big improvement after fixing my fuel problem / timing problem and chucking on the 3" cat-back enough of me... anyone got pics?? my hands were soooooooooooooo bloody cold they went different colous and numb!
