  1. or call a local qld shop who has TWO of them sitting there doing nothing. both in great condition..
  2. didn't see mention of the 2nd grey grill anywhere. shoot me some bank details and I will take it. also if you have the lower brackets/rubber mounts for the intercooler I will take those as well. (these are the ones on the frame rails.) 0407-102-839 if you would rather talk.
  3. there is not a work around for it. as for geting video INTO the thing. TV tuner is in the rear left of the car. look there and all will be revealed
  4. a farked battery will do that. doesn't matter what the charge voltage is. if it has a collapsed cell (IE short) then it will take an alternator with it. don't belt the alternator...
  5. yep! and I have another one sitting in the shop now with a similar mess in the same place..
  6. I can tell you that you have done a good job of it. that siad IF you can get the foam off - do so. if not - pull the rear speakers out. that will help things to a point.
  7. if you do not need the car - pull the roof out and give is a GOOD clean. most of the damage will be from build up of crap. it will involve pulling the whole lot down to nothing to clean it BUT it will run a lot better once you have done so. as for the motor you can still get them new from nissan (or from me) for about $600 or so. reconditioning one - find someone that does power window repairs (google pow win in nudgee qld ) as they did the recon'd on mine. happy to help you if you want send the motor /switch gear to them up here. I will lend them my roof to use for loading the motor down.
  8. do the usual checks for paint/dints/ repairs and you wil be right. messiah flew me down for the day to help him with his purchase. nagoya was teh third and final place he looked and I had put a scan tool across all the cars he looked at. the S3 V35 that he bought from nagoya was flawless and they even programmed the BT phone for him as well. good service was what I saw from an outside point of view. (they somewhat knew who I was and why I was there as well.)
  9. now if you think laterally that 75K 'VIN' will end up on a $50K jap market one and the rest will be sold off as spares/scrap.
  10. $550 send me an email and I will send you a few images.

  11. I can help with the GTR guards shoot me a PM.
  12. close. the frontal area is a fraction over $4k in bits and you still have to assemble it.
  13. what is wrong with it? the usually require a good clean and service of the motor.
  14. since you are in brissy - drive up to herston and I will loan you mine to try. may be a bit easier.
  15. got money?? I can probably put you in touch with someone in japan.
  16. I do know you can buy them in bits... (I'm doiung it with a R32.) cost- best you do not ask.
  17. took me 11 and I have to build one (see sig)..
  18. sounds familiar. one of the companies I deal with is doing that. the other will deal at will.
  19. not going to say publicly if it works use it is all I will say. though I would have thought that oz stds alarm would have been in there as well.
  20. yours has a dealer fitted alarm- removed 100s of them.
  21. same with me. the guys at metro windsor will troll through the books for me with only a model number. I do a fair bit with them as well.
  22. a lot of it comes across in the way you approach it. you are right in a way. if you play them dumb card and talk to them they will generally try to help. I know several dealers here with jap fast and they have no issue helping with parts. one dealer in particular I will actually give them an update disc every time I get one. NZ is a different matter. they have little issue with getting things. I do a lot of business with a subaru dealer there myself as I own a old japan built L series with a legacy GT driveline in it. can't buy parts for it here but I have no issue doing them from elsewhere.
