  1. CQ8400? if so the ribbon connection is breaking.
  2. email me, I'll knock up a circuit for you. check your fuses on the alarm as well. sounds like you have killed one.
  3. didnt look at it (IR) in the day time - can you see it?
  4. there is a limitation on which units will run with it. look back through the thread - I listed them I believe. no probs.
  5. nope. you need a NEW TV tuner that outputs NTSC. from there you need to know what you are doing.
  6. ring me when you get a sec. 0407-102-839. not too late though I'll help you from there. (need to know a few things.)
  7. you asked me via PM about this: firstly thats a door actuator so there is an alarm in there somewhere. do you wnat to use the remote control to wind up the windows or the key? if alarm. find the wire that goes to GND when you remotely lock the car. stick a diode (1N4004 will do) with the band side facing the actuator. if you are doing it with the key only I need to see the lock timer (drv kick panel).
  8. I do. ring me when your car arrives and I'll put you onto them. jon, yours will be right tomorrow arvo.
  9. diode actually. that and fix up your wiring. I use this method to roll windows up a fair bit. never a problem.
  10. dealer pack is what I'm looking for. still talking to nissan japan though for the official one.
  11. warren, easier way. remove covers on seat bolts. remove 4x14mm bolts position seat so it lays back out of the way:(DO NOT DISCONNECT IT!) look at 4 pin white plug in middle of seat. it has 2 wires: a heavy red and black in it for the seat power ONLY. IF it has 4 wires going THROUGH the plug into the seat itself then you have heated seats. based on the 05/06 sedan passenger seat you will have a LT GRN/BLK & GRY/BLU in that plug from teh car side - those will match with the ones in the centre console the car (in the case of the 05/06 sedan I have here) is set up for them its a case of swapping seats, adding switches and finding the relay and fuse for it. jon, yours is wired for it but thats it.
  12. ok - relay is NOT in the panel behind the battery, panel in front of battery and not in the drivers side. I'm still digging.
  13. looking at the '03 coupe that diagram should pretty much apply to it as well. brief look at it - seems the same layout.
  14. partial PDF from the 05/06 service manual. that is relevant to what we are talking about. its missing a relay so the whole concept of adding a switch is a myth. there is more to it that that. I would say: fuses, relays, switches, seats. I'll know more over the next day or so. jon, you may want to stay away for a few days whilst I find this missing relay g35sedan_heatedseat.pdf
  15. jon, found what i need here. this is for YOUR car. (05/06 sedan.)
  16. NO!! they are good for popping airbags. think there are 8 or so on these so I would only use a meter in them. if it is a LED one then that is a different story. still prefer a meter. jon, I'm bored so I'm tearing yours to bits.
  17. jon, if yo get me the switches I'll set it up. in the mean time I'll work yours out. if they are there then you are not swapping seats are you
  18. waz , its there in yours - I'm sure of it. when I get the car in a few weeks time I'll pull them out. irony being that in Jon's car they are VERY visible. (N15smo)
  19. give me a ring in the morn. 0407-102-839
  20. I can tell you that teh wiring is there for them. both under the seat and in the centre console. dont have time to rip a seat out ( I have two cars here now) to prove the seats.
  21. for reference: www.topfar.cn www.newteson.com www.gyshine.com http://www.hifimax.net/AIU-120.htm those are a FEW of the ones I get daily. HIFIMAX do a box that does what you want. they sell in 1000 lots at $1.5K+ (its a Car PC..)
