  1. not to be rude - keep dreaming on. even with the few things I have the shop site DOES NOT come close to paying for itself. do you have industry background? can you fit? (properly not backyard crap!) how are you sourcing the stock? if via transhippers out of the USA - good luck on warranty. if via chinese distros - same. good luck with quality levels there and quantity. most want 100+ per item orders PAID UP FRONT. as I said keep dreaming. I'm a 20 yr veteran in this field and the last thing we really need is another online shop saying we can get this cheaper than XXX.. there is such a thing as profit margin that keeps the main shops open. erode this and you will be wondering where your store went that you ask all the dumb questions to.
  2. I have a tool for this. (borrowed it.) do you need it reset or need to know what is wrong?
  3. screen is usable- if it works properly then replace the radio with a DVD unit that has NTSC output and you are set (sort of). find someone that understands integration in your are (I do this but I'm in brissy.) done. its not really a DIY job unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing.
  4. cabin filter is easy- remove glovebox and its right there.
  5. ok have paperwork here (been busy.) use this: thats it. that is looking INTO the radio. would suggest a trip to jaycar first of to get the correct plug.
  6. siren is probably full of water. pull it out and dry it. alarm module shares the same supply as the siren and VERY few people fuse them so when it gets a short in it the alarm module will do a lot of strange things.
  7. warren, been busy with council will talk to you once I free up.
  8. clarify waht car/screen you have pls. TV CAN be done on it as can nav.
  9. no probs. give me a bit and I'll work it out for you. ac controller is the worst bit. also what year?
  10. me. bit more to it than that though. need to know what AC control you have as well.
  11. clarify your question a bit. they do go back tot he position you left them however the seat back does not. if you have a lean on it then it will go to the first notch when clicked back. irony being that the USDM car had full memory seats.
  12. does heath or ernie have yours- if so thats the one I'll have in a few days. speak to you in the morn about it - pm me your shop # pls.
  13. nigel, do I know the people in question? also give me a ring when you get a sec - RE: Y34.
  14. exactly what I thought. as for placement. yep good spot. the GTR had it placed in the door.
  15. silver box is part of the car. it should be the main central locking unit in that car. anything attached to the white box can come out. if it ties to something in the main harness clip and tape it. the alarm is alpine based.
  16. dealer fitted alarm. seen the inside box before. there will be more of it in the drivers side.
  17. jon, fine with me. let me know when finalised.
  18. flick me an email addy. I have it in paper form on a OE schematic for that radio. you will need a switch as well. the audio side is easy - gettting it to switch to AUX is the hard part.
  19. didn't give me time to see it did you I have it here.
  20. dont bother. get the good stuff
  21. unit needs to support local radio and local DVD regions. the USA versions do not. I get 2-3 questions a week on this and then 1-2 I should have listened replies. dont really know what looks have to do with it. the unit is usually under a closed panel anyway.
  22. get me a few good shots of it. never seen that in a 33 engine bay. did the car have a dealer fitted alarm ??
