from my experience with them - you would need the auto controller if you were to toss a 'proper' auto in it. so that to me would be a harness swap. also the ECU is different in them. 350GT auto one is different physically to the CVT. driftt has the best idea so far.

on some of them the covers are knockouts. in the case of warrens car they are visible but not punched. warren, re: question - yes.

get them from the USA - they will be the WRONG ones. usdm cars have a 15 deg beam lean to the left. in english that will put the lights LITERALLY in the face of on coming traffic in a RHD car. JDM OE or importers are the only true way do do this correctly. adjusting wont help. the reflectors are designed that way.

no it does not. if all you want is the info in english - go for it. bear in mind there are 8 different boxes that go in these cars. if you know which one you have - try. bear in mind that they (USDM) are a DIFFERENT car than what you haev so you will lose a few features - TV being one of them. rianto, not worth your while. it will affect EVERYTHING on yours.

can anyone say LAG..... looks like a tightarse way of not doing it properly. HKS kit would have been a better idea.

ok- unit can be replaced- it needs a AUX IN to retain the TV - there is a fair bit of fiddling and a custom lead to make the two work. from there its not a probelm. to be honest I would leave SCR out of it and find someone that can actually make it work. where are you? I can suggest a few places that CAN do what you ask. in regard to the translation of the menus - there is a russian hack version running around but this is for the later cars.

amplifier and sub- dpending on what car it is - 10" would be adequate based on what you are saying.
