  1. @Predator1 overall AFRs look good, to be honest the torque graph looks pretty sensible too. I suppose the easiest option it to drop the plumb back external wastegate and do a run and overlay the graphs. As @GTSBoy has mentioned the turbo is probably out of puff, however there are other thing to play around with to try extract more power.
  2. eMAP is not bad at all! @Predator1 What are your AFRs like? Also do you have EGTs by any chance? Let's say theoretically a few injectors are running a bit lean, your overall combined average AFR would be lean, naturally a tuner would dump in more fuel to make the average overall number look safe again. Now because of that, you're dumping in much more fuel than needed and overall making a little bit less power than expected. Not saying that it's the case, but good to rule out one more thing. Lastly, just to rule it out, just dump your wastegate to atmosphere for a dyno pull and see if you make heaps more power. What are other cars with the same-ish setup making?

  4. Apologies if you've said it before, but how's your exhaust designed/plumbed? Yeah Hypertune, a few too many stories and their customer service is non-existent unless you're a big workshop. Your IAT looks ok, however would be great to see what your pressure is pre/post. EMAP doesn't look bad either.

  7. I suppose so, I also still hate the car. If someone walked up to me and asked for a straight swap with a M2/3 Comp I would do it in microseconds. LOL... why aren't there headlights? It's a bit like that, you see another working car and it gives you a bit more motivation. I did cheat and drop it off at a shop to do all the heavy lifting this time round. Is that just a refresh on the XR5 OR full build?
  8. haha next All Jap Day! Meanwhile, I'm trying to work out what night I can go attack SMSP again, I am keen on a low 1m50s around the circuit with RS-4 tyres. I feel that I am happy with how the car handles now, the front camber made a massive difference! Now it's just practice and more of it.

  10. Do you have any data pre/post intercooler boost pressure? What are your IATs at post IC? I've heard rumours (just rumours no actual data or facts) that a few people swapped over to a Plazmaman core and IATs dropped, less of a pressure drop was observed and overall more power was made (but I have not seen any data to back this up). On E85, IATs aren't too much of a concern, so I wonder what your tuner has set in terms of ignition trimming vs. IAT. I personally remove any aggressive correction on E85, and don't apply anything till 60 degrees IAT.
  11. Shit box up against my mate's Evo 3 (dog box, 570kW at all fours, etc.) Of course I was going to lose, but was fun nevertheless
  12. Shit box survived all 7 sessions of hooning and circuit. Didn't get a clean run on any of the sessions as there was a bit of traffic. Camber changes did make a massive difference and ended up going into T1 at 160km/h without the front washing out so happy with that! Some eFame shots of the shit box.

  14. Try this setting, the out of the box Haltech value is much higher and reads weird Also if you're running the latest version of the firmware, there's a known bug with VSS doing a few thousand km/h lol

  17. very nice power band you must be super happy, now for a flex fuel setup. Looking at the boost, and power curve, etc. there's enough headroom for near 400kW at the hubs! Power is still climbing, still room for more boost (don't listen to me, you'll end up making 400kW and then the motor will go bang and you'll have a sads then do something dumb like build a motor and regrets all round)
  18. Whoever is coming up with these rules need to relax the glass BBQ lol. Sure it's for safety but surely for a car making 320kW that's clearly not needed, especially these cars the rear CVs would snap first before the tailshaft even begins to fatigue. But rules are rules.
  19. interesting rule! I recall you guys have another odd one where you can run a screamer pipe, provided it goes all the way to the rear of the car and exits next to the rear muffler.

  21. Seems some what lenient in NZ, which I suppose is a great thing for car enthusiasts Interesting about the driveshaft hoop, it's not like you did any transmission changes to the car.
  22. Do they do an emissions test too? I know if I tried with my car I would need to make it quieter, run smaller wheels, install a 400 cell cat, plumb back the catch can, reinforce the body work for the FMIC piping cut out, etc. So much harder in NSW, Australia. Other states in Australia are a bit easier.
