NZ R33 Long Term Build

I suppose WMI could be an option! LOL I can't believe you're already thinking of building a RB30 -

very nice power band you must be super happy, now for a flex fuel setup. Looking at the boost, and power curve, etc. there's enough headroom for near 400kW at the hubs! Power is still climbing, still room for more boost (don't listen to me, you'll end up making 400kW and then the motor will go bang and you'll have a sads then do something dumb like build a motor and regrets all round) -

Whoever is coming up with these rules need to relax the glass BBQ lol. Sure it's for safety but surely for a car making 320kW that's clearly not needed, especially these cars the rear CVs would snap first before the tailshaft even begins to fatigue. But rules are rules. -

interesting rule! I recall you guys have another odd one where you can run a screamer pipe, provided it goes all the way to the rear of the car and exits next to the rear muffler. -

yeah interested he needs another one? Unless I'm reading this wrong: "I also need to install a driveshaft hoop, which has been made and ready to go on." -

Seems some what lenient in NZ, which I suppose is a great thing for car enthusiasts Interesting about the driveshaft hoop, it's not like you did any transmission changes to the car. -

Do they do an emissions test too? I know if I tried with my car I would need to make it quieter, run smaller wheels, install a 400 cell cat, plumb back the catch can, reinforce the body work for the FMIC piping cut out, etc. So much harder in NSW, Australia. Other states in Australia are a bit easier. -

Very nice! Good feedback with the radiator fan setup too, I think I might go down that path once this hub seizes. Powerband is nice and wide, no funny skateboard ramps. Now skids -

Good luck with the tune tomorrow! In terms of the injector, that outer ring doesn't really do anything, so you'll be fine. -

This is what you need to adjust, ideally you want the trigger arming voltage to be a touch lower than the actually voltage read at the cranking RPM. I would setup a screen similar to this, and then cranking the car and see what you need to adjust the trigger arming voltage to be at. This is from a Haltech article https://support.haltech.com/portal/en/kb/articles/trigger-arming-voltage -
Anti roll bars are very hot topic, I'm personally not a fan of the super stiff setup. From my personal experience, I prefer upping the spring rate (I'm planning to myself, especially for SMSP). Since Matt's car already understeers, I would not be adding a front ARB, however introducing a rear should aid in it clocking better, however with a slight compromise as the car would snap oversteer much easier.

Haha wouldn't say it's stealing, when other Skylines also have similar designs. Inspired by one another -

Bring up the scope and/or just look at the trigger voltages and crank the car. Now see what it's registering at, and adjust your trigger arming voltage table so it's a little below the voltage at crank. I'll send some screen shots tomorrow when I'm at my desk. -

wow... look very OEM+ Looking superb! The airbox cover is real nice, it goes down and seals up against the pipe work too! -
Holes drilled into the floor, @34GeeTeeTee made me do it 😂 Now the sub harness no longer shares the 2x mounting points for the waist straps. I really should just get a half cage.
