  1. Greddy gauges..... US ebay.... cheeeeep! Will be installing a mechanical gauge straight onto the reg as well.... easier for set up on the dyno/nitrous tuning etc.
  2. Your so off base it's not funny..... Your stock neo 25 isn't going to last long at 340rwkw.... especially if you track it! Why do you want 340kw so bad? WMI isn't going to band aid 97ron into an E85 tune!!!!! You do realise you will have to re-tune your car once you get there??? Your E85 tune will be WAY too rich and WAY too much timing reguardless of how much water you pump into the thing. Also your Indian 97ron isnt the same as our 98 or 95ron in Aus.... the fuel is completly different. Trent's good, but he's not that good. Your aunt will have to pay for shipping to her from the supplier then import duties and gst on the parts from the US anyway.... I know, I just came from Florida 3 weeks ago. J.
  3. 0rwkw untill you put it all together.... and only then you realise your shopping list is missing another 10k of asembally, machining, hoses, electrical, ignition, gaskets, tuning etc.... not to mention 3k on a clutch and 5k on a gearbox. J.
  4. If Trent suggested ID1000's..... I would probably get some ID1000's.... If Trent can't scource them for you, email Injector Dynamics or T1 race developments to get the correct adapter tails to suit your application. What dose Trent say about the WMI with E85??? J.
  5. The small spring fitts inside the large spring.... (paralell) So no you cant run a large spring with another large spring. (series) Or go with a single custom spring... Probably a better option. Cheers Justin
  6. I normaly use pushlock hose for oil coolers... rated at 250-350psi working pressure depending on the brand of hose. Why diff coolers? It'd be a shame to re-build the car to new only to track hack it... Cheers Justin
  7. To use the search button....
  8. If nothing is broken... just worn out. Budget 4-5K drive in drive out for a professional workshop. It would be about the same to buy an importer motor and have it freshed up out of the car, then swap it in when it's ready. At least that way you could still drive around on your old motor. Cheers Justin
  9. Like I said, learn about the parts your talking about and how they're used. J.
  10. Learn about the parts you are talking about... And how they are used when tuning/modifing your car. Throwing parts at a car is useless unless they work together. Don't bother with water meth injection. It's a band aid at best. I you wan't your aunt to bring you somthing worthwhile from the US, get her to buy you a precision turbo 5557 PS with the twin ceramic bb core and T3 .82 exh housing. Or a nitrous express nitrous kit. Or a stack of turbocharging/efi tuning/ecu programing/engine building/chassis and suspension/brakes books from barnes and noble. Cheers Justin
  11. Wooohooo finally going to be here for one! ... now where'd I put that nitrous kit
  12. Updates? I wanna see the finished intake! Cheers Justin
  13. It's probably one hours labour for Marty to install it. Electronic boost controllers start around $400.
  14. I just bypassed my hicas solinoids and run the rear pump through the stock power steering/hicas oil cooler loop in the front.... The hicas soliniods are heavy! Any updates damo? Still heading to the symonds gymkhana? Cheers Justin
  15. Take some pressure readings along your exhaust before each component. If you have more than a few psi of presssure anywhere then you have power robbing restriction. If you have restriction... remove it. Personally I would go bigger pipe size for that turbo, unless it's a straight pipe with no mufflers. Cheers Justin
  16. Nick is busting out some pretty good tunes lately... As everyone else said there is no real difference between a good power/economy tune as the afr's are the same for both (or there abouts). The best way would be to install a electronic boost controller with hi/low boost switch... low boost is eco mode, hi boost power mode. Power= air + fuel. Less power used = less fuel used- so just don't drive so hard. Or install a throttle stop... ha h ah ha. Cheers Justin
  17. Dial up a few rpm, hold the handbrake so you dont roll out of the staging lights, get the clutch to grab point, dial in a few more rpm 6k ish then feed out the clutch while you feed in the power as you drop the handbrake. A little slip on the line will get you out of the hole ALOT quicker. OR limmiter bash and dump the clutch for AWD fury.... ha ha ha Your choice. If your going for a time, don't get to conserned about the tree, just go when you want to go. If you want to beat the v8 next to you, drop the clutch on the last red light to leave that sucker at the line. Have fun Justin.
  18. Well there's only one way to find out!!! H ah ah. Prep the car well, use really good oil in your gearbox and no limmiter clutch dumping. I got a good 12-14 passes in before 3rd gear went bang at nearly 400rwkw. Have fun J.
  19. Can you post up part numbers and pictures of the origional tool kit pleeeeeease? Cheers Justin
  20. S13 coilovers fitt fairly easily I believe... Marty willl be the one to ask. I have HSD's under my pig. As for rims... I'd get a set of 15" steelies widened as much as possible each end, then put plastic hub caps back on!!!
  21. Had a look a few days ago.... Set of coilovers and some widened steel rims, the thing will be sleeeeeper!! Should go allright with the auto. Ha ha ha ha... love it.
  22. Bit of an update for my rb25+5557 combo... Picked it up last week (arrived in aus the day before) semi tuned.... still having dramas! Electrical/ignition, burnt the clutch the first night, no vct still, only 18psi atm on a verrrry conservative tune. Feels good to drive with off boost, it starts making good power from 3k onwards. I'm glad powertune has pushed this turbo to it's limmits... I wasn't going to push 30+ psi into my stock rb25. I'll see where we go at 250-260 odd on 98. Cheers Justin
  23. Hey guys, after alot of reaserch and searching I am aware of what parts I need to make a mechanical speedo drive for my rb25 gearbox (in a r32 gts-t). I'm looking for a quick reliable solution. I don't realy have the time or space to go buggering around making one from cratch. Are there any stores/workshops/retailers/parts suppliers/conversion shops ect who stock a mechanical speedo drive to suit rb25 box in an r32 gtst. Cheers Justin
