  1. Looks much better now, love it. This is what I did with my plate. Vic slimline plate, trimmed in a guillotine (removed white border), exposed metal on sides painted black, hand filed corners to fit the bar, rubber spacers made up for behind the plate so it doesn't touch the paint, bolts painted black, nutserts into the bar. Vicroads and the local police OK'd me modifying the plate in this way.
  2. Welcome to the club, car looks great! Sidebar, that Cerato looks awesome lol, never thought I'd say that.
  3. Sorry I should have clarified, that's 2 readings from the same dyno so kind of pointless now that I think about it.
  4. I think it seems less responsive than I thought it would be and 330 seems low for -9s on e85 given people make that on 98 or make more again with only -7s and e85.
  5. So was this just in prep for full exhaust?
  6. Does this seem low/laggy? 34R Haltech Platinum Pro N1 manifolds -9s HPI dumps and 3" front pipes Full 3.5" exhaust after merge, catless Stock airbox with apexi panel E85 with 1000cc Injextors and 460lph walbro 22psi despite what graph says. Cam gears, intake 3deg advance, exhaust 3deg retard. Twin turbo pipe mod Torque is oddly high also. Rpm jumo was explained as tacho pickup on the injector wire because he can't get to the coils I have a second graph that's fine.
  7. And then? Gainz from butt dyno? Better noise? More boosts? More skidz?
  8. Even I could see that coming...
  9. Cheap for the fun factor.
  10. Curses, foiled again. Clean swap now? So I can get in on dem millions bruh
  11. I can, but apparently mere mortals wont be able to afford it.
  12. I should have added the context of "when I sell the car" as I won't be keeping mine for 20yrs. Too many other cool cars to own before I check out.
  13. I'm on the fence on this one. I don't see the bulk of GT-R's being collectible, only some of them and only in certain condition etc. As was said earlier, I'm more hopeful that I've got a car that's not going to depreciate substantially during my ownership. Breaking even with a car is no mean feat.
  14. A I said, I wont have it for that long. I'll be happy to keep it a few years and break even. There's too many other cars I want to own and I'm not rich enough to have them all at once
  15. I wont have it in 20yrs. I also think your read on the market is way off, but we'll have this chat again in 20 yrs
  16. That's part of my concern, I only just bought it. If the peak is now then I'm going to lose out later =\
  17. Is that not part of the conversation though? The status of classic that is. We all probably agree the Z tune is a classic and that rare examples like N1, 400R, etc will hold some value, but it's not like all XYs are worth 150k. Likewise I don't see ALL GT-R's skyrocketing, and holding, that value.
  18. The existence of more Greek/Lebanese or the change in buying/selling behaviour? I can't comment on the first part, but as for the second. Lots more low balling and publicly harassing OPs about pricing/being disrespectful etc. If you're not buying a part/car, don't comment and certainly don't comment saying the car is shit/overpriced/ugly/ etc. While I'm all for making offers, don't be a tool if the OP says no thanks either. I'd widen the net on this one and say the drifting community and also what I refer to as flat cappers have gutted S and R chassis prices for cars and parts with the whole YOLO attitude of spend thousands on a car then fire sale it for 5k. The entire market has suffered as a result. Can be good when I'm buying though Yes I'm aware that's a gross generalisation, so people don't need to put out specific examples that go against what I've said here, we all know people who are exceptions to the rule. This is an off the cuff remark. Flame suit on.
  19. Most of the GT-R owners I've dealt with to date (admittedly primarily SAU) have seemed fine? I have noticed a lot more greek/lebanese owners on the GT-R parts/sales pages on FB which makes buying and selling interesting at times. I have seen some of this type of thing though, given my S13 is a CA and not an SR/LS/RB.
  20. And by that time you'll have spent 750 on it lol
  21. I'd of thought that it would depend on whether other countries want to import them from Australia, in terms of affecting our local prices. Otherwise it's still the same people buying them locally so the only real pressure on our prices is that they're more expensive to import due to demand elsewhere. My guess is the price pressure will force people to look elsewhere and decide that GT-R's really aren't that special (for non die hard fans).
  22. I've seen a heap of estimates but they're all around this for anyone wondering. R32 - 44k R33 - 16k R34 - 12k Those numbers include all variants available to the model.
