  1. More or less yep, as I pointed out, I bought the 34 because I always had a boner for the Z Tune. I enjoyed my 33R, but when I pull the cover off the 34, I feel like I'm 12yrs old. As for resale values. I hope they don't go down lol otherwise me and a lot of other Nissan owners will be even more out of pocket. I've already committed to keeping the Silvia given what's been spent and what it's worth, I don't need another expensive shed piece
  2. But for realz, is that the consensus about 34 owners?
  3. What I do and how often is none of your business...
  4. Lol, like I said, looks are subjective.Bronze can look decent on darker cars, but not silver IMO.
  5. Example. That's a lot of cash to drop on wheels that look like a factory option against a light colour car. Contrast is nice. Your own example illustrates this.
  6. It was good enough for the z tune, it's good enough for me. As much as I love RPF01s they dont look nearly as good on a silver car. I realise this is all subjective, but there's a fairly large consensus behind the silver on black brigade.
  7. Silver and black is the winner. Ask me how I know.
  8. Any more info on that stereo? pics of it working? brand? anything?
  9. Why? That way you two can roll together when he gets out of prison... Fair point though. *cough* widebody...
  10. I agree with all of this, but will add one thing. My 200kw Silvia is a substantially better track car than many 300kw skylines. for a fraction of the cost when talking pure lap times. That's coming from an R34 GT-R owner, someone stupid enough to pay the premium over a nice 33 purely for the looks. The Silvia is also much easier and all round cheaper to work on and has substantially better bang for buck. S-Chassis or Evo for a Track car and the cheapest comfy auto daily I can get to afford the other 2 I've been lurking on this thread as 34 values interest me greatly.
  11. That makes it hard. Or too similar to stock?
  12. This is where the mixed vibes come from, I was really on the fence after your reluctance to get rear pods... Luckily you bought a silver Evo so we're cool again. Have you chosen what Black rims you'll be getting?
  13. Ahh that explains so much about you, now it all makes sense. Filthy NSW peasant...
  14. Fark 0_0 That will hammer. IF I'm ever down in Melb, take me for a ride
  15. What can they do on stock turbos? they're steel wheel aren't they so less risk also. 220awkw? That's like 300rwkw in a Skyline anyway.
  16. Is it stock turbo? If so, is there that much of a risk at any torque the stock turbo is capable of? I don't know much about Evo's but I'm hearing more about rods being snapped.
  17. So more grip and starting earlier, nice.
  18. At that price it's no wonder. So how much better is the Evo, I need lots of justification for when I ditch the R for an Evo or an M3 of something
  19. Ohh nice. Sold GTR? If not, link to ad...
  20. Guys here who have been to that servo regularly fill 2-4 drums on the back of a ute, no issue.
  21. The issue becomes if the service station will allow me to fill it in the back of the car, given once full I would not be able to lift it by myself. Earthing shouldn't be an issue as I can just use an earthing lead from the drum to an earthing point in the car/to the pump. Alternatively I may need to just borrow a bunch of jerry cans from my mates and fill those instead.
  22. Just got off the phone. I can LEGALLY have a FULL drum IN the car. Any more than a drum and it must be trailered, placarded with dangersou goods signage and you need a license but a single drum is LEGAL Must be secured and he advised me about the risks of ignition and fuel vapors. Windows will be down, will drive slower than usual, will employ ratchet straps. This information is specific to NSW, I have no idea about other states.
  23. I'm on the phone with RTA as we speak rather than working of google searches, which I've also been doing I've also seen the stuff about static, you simply need to earth yourself, the drum/nozzle etc. I'm also not going to be wearing synthetic clothing or holding my phone. For $20, happy to throw it in, not a big deal. Would be interested to see that drum. I've got a drum but your nozzle setup sounds interesting.
