  1. Half the kit is here so got a start. Just jap rears from eBay here in a few days, sleeka spares front kit direct from them, still stuck in Melbourne (rom SA) since the 22nd =\ Realised I do not have a 36mm socket so couldn't remove the rear hub, which is the half of the kit I have. Plan was to disconnect the arms to swivel the knuckle down to remove drive shaft and get access to the bolts at the back, after disconnecting them all the thought occurred to me that I can probably just disconnect the shalf at the diff and push it out of the hub instead and leave the arms, oh well. Do have a 30mm so prep'd the front. In love with new impact gun, in love with hoist, in love with small 12v power ratchet, Wish I had bought some of this years ago, makes life and working on the car so much nicer. Car looking even sadder now.
  2. Wheels gone, got a grand for those with the old AR1s, not too shaddy IMO. Bought this kit but had to buy it separately from 2 different suppliers as neither had the full set, so 730 posted vs like 620 or something, that pained me more than it should have, paying retail is bad enough... Hope the bearings aren't shit. Trying to find good used 5 stud gear was retarded, this market is cooked. ZSS Hub Conversion Kit 5x114.3 (Front & Rear Set) - Nissan S13 Silvia/ – Just Jap Looking a bit sad now lol
  3. If it was the blue or that bronze/gray two tone I might even keep it, but not green =\
  4. Had some guys rock up to pickup my old half cage last night and they were adamant I should not paint the car other than refresh the two tone sea foam green lol
  5. Old cage is gone, will get serious about listing the dash and interior, wheels are for sale also then will get a 5 stud swap and some 18x10 and work out what impact that has on the bodywork (flares/wide etc).
  6. I will only go perspex if I break mine removing them as they are encapsulated and hard to remove apparently (sorry If i said that alreayd, cannot be bothered scrolling back). .
  7. Oh yeah, i still have power windows... Plenty of air for me lol plenty fast for my driving talent Duncan, i have spent 95% of my car hobby time talking about/researching/buying/stuff around and the other 5% doing actual laps...
  8. Fair points Duncan, I will have a centre stack and some dash gauges and could build something but for a $100 I just grabbed a 34 GT dash as it's a nice basic dash I can easily cut modify and saves me a bulk of work. Weight is not really an issue, dashes are light and the car will be plenty fast. Given I have to remove the rear quarter glass for the cage, I considered Perspex with naca ducts (1 in and 1 out) to get air flow through the cabin, but can also leave the fan box in if needed. We'll see how it looks when it gets here.
  9. yes still think i'll get a 335/435/550 or something for a cheap weekender Soft spot for the a90 also, too dear for now.
  10. I feel you. Buying another house and moving out onto dirt roads was part of selling the 34, still no regrets either 0_0
  11. You don't get to post anything in here without a GT-R update and some onboard footage of you banging gears. Thanks
  12. And I'll be off to shed tonight to put some bags over my hanging fuel lines...
  13. GTFO Neil, nobody wants to hear about your success
  14. R33 Series 2 starter motor, mint condition, $1000, firm no offers, I know what I got. #jdmprices Market is cooked.
  15. Doing well if he can find them for sensible money to then on sell them lol
  16. True true. I do miss the bonuses/commissions from my last role that made race car spending much easier to stomach, but I don't miss the stress
  17. That's what I had. I just had some additional spring base grooves cut into the body for some height adjustment also.
  18. Shit this sounds like me. Race car sitting there, but chopped wood or some other rural shit instead. Having a property is not a good thing for people who want to go racing.
  19. I remember buying Bilstein's of him I think when that was the rage on here 20yrs ago. That's a name I haven't seen in yonks, was a knowledgeable dude.
  20. Good general info without revealing too much of your personal stuff, appreciate it.
  21. Awesome! Do you mind sharing the cost of the dry sump setup? How do people get sponsored and how much is that typically "helping".
