  1. KiwiRS4T, ill go slightly off topic, i figure the vct was deleted with the r32 ecu and what rewiring is needed to run on a manual S1 ? i'd guess z32 ecu would work with vct? the thread in the stagea forum makes it seem harder then it is
  2. to confirm if its head related your ment to put a tiny bit of oil in the spark plug hole before comp test, this will seal whats ment to be sealed and comp result will go up confirming issue with the head. when i broke my 20 ( air leak past afm + over heating+ on limiter ) it was a much more louder and metallic sound
  3. running a 30 row oil cooler water stays at 85-90 while oil get above 105 and rises... will be running a 2nd oil cooler on the passenger side drift not grip though
  4. pending on the set up your coolant temp could be perfect yet oil temps could get quite high so oil temps are not always relative to water
  5. for wiring on manual loop the inhibitor which is the 2 pin plug with thick wires in near the engine bay fuse box... car will start in any gear now
  6. can one use wet sanding on this primer for a smooth result or will it crumble to shit ? top effort put in, so many man hours
  7. never mind, i bought a cheap socket, put my grinder in a vise and put the socket on a drill making it thin walled by grinding it down works great

  9. does anyone have any tips on how to get the size 22mm bolt off that blocks the water return on the NA 25 block.... the head of the bolt is short and the block casting is just in the way so a socket fouls on the block and doesnt reach the bolt head on gonna go shopping for some thin sockets tomorrow.....

  13. most nissan auto ignition barrels have a little unit that locks the key in the barrel unless the car is in park(auto), the unit is held on with a screw/bolt and is a pretty weak unit so you just snap it off if you cant reach the bolt easy. its what you do with most auto to manual conversions

  16. after a recommendation for a rb water pump to suit the stock one that isnt a pricey nissan one. seen a few rb30 pumps under $50 on ebay and wondering if they will fall to shit within a few months? who runs something like mentioned above, discuss . thanks edit: seems gates also make water pumps to suit RB, might give it a go
  17. ^ that could be so handy...... i wounder how frustrated one would be if the remote fails and you cant get to it due to stealthy positioning

  19. so the box would occasionally pop out of 5th into neutral , now it wont go into reverse and it currently is stuck in 5TH gear clutch pedal does work and can clutch in and start car while stuck in 5TH gear all signs point to a new box being needed but might as well throw a few ideas around thanks
