i had mesh over my old 600*300 but it still stood out like dogs balls. i would have rathered leaving it in there to but with the po po going stupid on stickers over here i wanted to find a alternative to the big cooler with half the reo missing

Thanks for that Rob, shame i didnt see your post earlier, i was eyeing off a typhoon intercooler at the drags and may go that way down the track, we'll see how this one goes first. i think any other cooler needs the reo cut (even slightly) where as this requires absolutely no cutting at all of the reo at all.

well fitted it. im running 330wrhp at the moment and everything seems good. the car is just a daily. doesn't get driven hard so hopefully it will be enough to keep it cool. if not, ill just put the old intercooler back in

no problems, phenline didn't need the rims and tires either so they are here too. dont need to leave anything, just please bring them back. send me a pm of when you need them

mate went over today and just passed, kosteci's said that the test is being trialed for the next 6 months as is, then they will do improvements to it cost him 750 the first time and 850 the second time through. he put the car back to stock (vy commo) and only just passed. and get this, one of the costs was to tie down to the dyno and warm up his car, cost *** $230***. WTF

lovely night,albeit a bit cold. packed to the rafters with cars. only managed a 13.466 @ 175 km/h and 2.3** 60fters. either bogged on the line or axle tramped. at least the top end speed shows that the ol girl is good for a mid to high 12 with a good start.

i had this problem on my highflow. kept on going to 17 psi no matter what i did (even machined out wastegate) ended up being to rich a tune and to free flowing exhaust. had to put a restriction plate in my exhaust and when i was ready to run the higher boost level i took it out and got a retune and that fixed it run a flat 15 till i got a quieter exhaust, now it drops away at the end of the rev range

going down if the weathers fine, track seems to be good at the moment. gunna try get into the 12 sec bracket. any one else?

for the guys in the south, i got set of stock rims with reasonable tyres set of stock springs set of stock injectors non m spec stock front bar (slightly modded) stock exhaust but needs a little bit of repair (small welding job) stock air box stock ecu

i done a conversion about 3 years ago, cost me 4 grand all up then, for me it was worth it as the car was spotless inside and out. things you need as folloews tailshaft clutch flywheel (machine before use) gbox shifter console and inner and outer boot brake peddle clutch peddle with slave and master cylinder and hydraulic line spigot manual dash wiring modded can still use auto computer (i have only just changed it) can still use auto diff (will be about 9km fast at 100km) this conversion only takes a few hours with the right equipment so i wouldn't be paying over $1000 for labor, the car acts and looks like a manual except it has the little power/snow button. hop this helps
