i had trouble with my old vl with purple paint and i left in the sprinklers for about 3-4 weeks and in the sun, which baked the marks on and was impossible to remove. i used a little (very very litte) diluted amount of CLR in a bucket of water and it actually worked a treat. though warning it says not for use on paint but i was selling the car anyway and it didnt damage the paint at all. still took alot of elbow grease but fixed it in the end upto u if u wanna try it, maybe try a small non-visable area first and see how it affects the paint. i wouldnt be doing it on a black or really dark colour though.

i'd be getting either one to use the original pipework (both on same side) such as a hybrid one, or for a cooler with tanks on each end and requiring new pipework totally, id use the stock r32/33/34 gtr coolers. they are a perfect fit, and it just depends on how u want to route the cooler piping in the engine bay as to which one u choose i'd pick a gtr cooler over a hybrid anyday. choose is yours

Stagea Coilovers? Quick Info Please
CruiseLiner replied to toxic's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
hey mate those will not fit a stagea rs four. front end no problem, rears have the fork style ends and the stagea rs four have the o shaped holes. unless u put gtr rear hubs/brakes/diff/ custom length axles on like mine they wont fit. gtr = fork end rears gts-t = o ring rears stagea rs four = o ring rears stagea 260rs = fork end rears just to clear things up abit cheers Brad -
the little home builders for cheaper homes, are always gonna be trouble, they employ shit trades and half of them the builders dont even know or use on a regular basis, more or less "blow ins" when the work gets busy. i am pretty fussy but i gotta say 99% of new homes i look through are disgusting quality. celebration homes is alright, my sister works for them, and they are the same company as dale alcock, new home buyers, and a few others. best builders are the upmarket more expensive ones. they spend the extra on making it look decent, and add little touches so they dont look tacked together. i work for beaumonde homes personally and i reckon they do build one of the best quality homes out of any builders in WA thats for sure, except maybe zorzi and a few other really pricey builders. i think only a tradesman can really spot the dodgy workmanship, and normal people say oh that looks great when i can tell immediately its a disgusting job. pretty similiar to the car workshop industry, plenty of cowboys to be aware of. depends on the supervisor who is looking after your house too, they have different trades and so a scott park home in clarkson is built by totally different people than one in canning vale. checkout the display homes and alot of them are shit quality too, and they use the better trades on the displays than customers homes so thats a clear sign to stay well way. oh and the warning about staying away from domination homes is true, they build the biggest heap of rubbish house ive ever seen, and thats one of the display homes in stirling i looked at. cheers Brad

Stagea Coilovers? Quick Info Please
CruiseLiner replied to toxic's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
ok mate the rear shocks u mention with the fork ends (u shape) are for a gtr, or a stagea 260rs which has the gtr rear end, so they wont fit a normal stagea. u need the gts-t style o holes and they will fit front and back, though the weight difference in the stagea wont be very suited to gts-t shocks. hope it helps Brad -
how long till u plan on doing this? ive got a few other things to buy at the moment, but i'd be interested in the near future, if they are around or under $1000 for the lot. the nismo kit as well, not the 260rs one.

CruiseLiner replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
id say yes 99.9% sure as what other manual box would they use? -
leads are not needed if u mount direct onto sparkplugs, i removed my ignitor all together with the autronics cdi so i dont know if u would need an msd one or not with the twin power. autronics cdi = $1150 msd coils = $600 thats all i got (untested so far, so not sure they are good yet) ill keep yas posted

Jun 2.7l Stroker Build Underway (hks T04z)
CruiseLiner replied to StageZilla's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
cheers guys for the info, most helpful. so what oil filter do u reccomend? genuine nissan or ryco or what? thanx again Brad -
msd coils as tommyk mentioned are $95 each so just under $600 (when i got em 8 months ago, and that was not a cheap price), only thing is u need a cdi unit to run them im 99% sure. fitting em is easy, though im struggling to get the cover on with em in as the last coil hits where the ignitor pack sits as it drops down abit so im gonna chop the ignitor hole out and put some mesh in it for cooling and to be able to put the top back on to hide the wiring and make it look neater

cheers mate, yer they are the cheapy ones but im gonna try em and see, the piping is pretty secure as it is, and i had them from previously running 18psi on highflows and no trouble. i just aint bothered to get the bigger ones until i have too. all the big ones seem to be stainless steel casing and a zinc coated bolt which looks shit, i want s/s for the whole lot to polish em oh and ive had a cooler pipe blow off b4 cause it wasnt tightened properly on 18psi and it made the mess of tearing the insulation stuff off the underside of my bonnet as u can see in the pic, looks shitty now with it ripped thanks Brad

R34 Rb26 Rebuild Time (drift Spec)
CruiseLiner replied to SR20DET's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
u got jun 2.7L billet, full counterweight crank, tomei 2.8L (not full counterwieght i dont think) and the hks 2.8L crank, though there a few different hks cranks in the 2.8L depending on power. and n1 block is only 3K i was told which if i knew when i did mine id be using one str8 up, not worth risking on a normal block when they are sooo cheap plenty of options around, try searching the site for stroker kits as their was a large thread on it a fair while ago now discussing all the options show us some pics is it a skyline or a chaser going by the jzx (rb26 powered) as your listed car? -
well their might be good businesses but not dealing with my ecu and have the correct knowledge for my car, cause everyone seems to be an amatuer and thats y ive done 99.9% of the work at home to save dealing with slow arse businesses. machining taking 23 weeks was the biggest laugh, and the 2 shops involved thought they did great service to me, sooo maybe im in too much of a rush anyway enough whinging, im not thinkin bout it anymore, gets me frustrated just a quick note that it aint gonna go on the dyno on monday only a quick road tune, and i can only rev to 4000rpm max or so and no boost until the 1000km run in is done, then rebook it in and tune for around 450-500rwhp for the moment until i get used to the power and then back on in the near future for a full power tune on around 25-28psi, and hoping to push the limit of that little t04z to around 650rwhp or so, which the tuner says wont be very difficult at all with the engine setup. i need some cash to buy a stronger gearbox and i'd be set for sure i want to run a 10 in this stagea if its the last thing i do (with 650rwhp and os giken gearset or other aftermarket gearbox) cheers Brad

CruiseLiner replied to StageZilla's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
well not ready till monday now, god damn im spewing and ready to kill someone but thats the shit i have been putting up with since day 1 of this build, and hopefully monday they finish the damn wiring and start it or im gonna go insane so with the oil filter change after 1/2 hour, do i still leave the same batch of castrol gtx in the motor for the first 1000km or does it get changed with the filter? -
hey wildcat thanks for the support, well i just rang em again and now not till monday at the earliest, which im not happy about in the slightest, with around 70K of car sitting in their workshop all weekend, i hate perth, all the businesses are sooo damn useless and unreliable its killing me. 3 different shops and 3 damn problems, arhhhh i cant believe the crap i have been put through. my car hasnt even been touched by the workshop as the race cars get first preference and i goto the back of the line, which is damn wrong. who on earth knows how to tune autronics and isnt f**kin useless at customer service, no one in perth thats for sure. sorry for the sour attitude im just flaming at the moment over the situation
