Where do people keep getting these ideas about drive train losses being a percent?
Example:
my GTT is making 1000kw at the fly wheel and you say i'm losing 30%. That gives me 700kw at the wheels.
300kw loss through the drive train. That would mean your 335kw GTT motor wouldn't be able to turn the back wheels on my GTT because all your power is being consumed by my drive train. But the drive train is identical.
Your GTT lost 85kw
My GTT lost 300kw
how do you explain that??
Drive train loses are NOT calculated by pertanges.
If the HSV lost 75kw and it's a manual and your GTT is a manual, same size wheels, blah blah blah, you will lose about 75kw. Or better still if someone is saying that a 206kw GTT mays 150kw at the wheels (56kw loss), guess what, your 335kw will lose about 56kw.
