  1. well that being the case....i think i will call myself a dentist and start pulling teeth...i have a set of pliers and a bottle of NOS here....Ok who's first?
  2. hahaha uni degree's.....i think i spent about 1500 on materials when i did my car......is it possible to do a uni degree on "Life in the realword"?(jk)You might find some dodgy leb in campbellfield that will do it....but you will most likely have runs/dust in the paintwork not to mention when it comes off in sheets the first time you wash it you go back to find that the cops have raided the joint and theres nothing there but carcus's of calved up VL BT1 turbo bodyshells and a sheep grazing in the backyard to keep the grass down untill bail is set
  3. people...whats wrong with the original oil?Nothing i say
  4. Im not talking about too me....just in general....the amount of work that goes into a job to make sure you get a GOOD LONG lasting finish...thats the key.....its all time and to do a half arsed job wont show up untill 6 mnths later when repairs have all shrunk back, filler 10mm thick has cracked or fallen out or clear is flaking off from not being rubbed properly....this is what you guys have to factor in when talking about getting a good job done....

  6. yes...just like customers who want to pay for a nice job instead of pinching a penny and getting a shamozzle of a job
  7. what sort of time frame are you looking at?I got a bit of work on at the moment but i could TRY help you out......depends on whats been done to the vehicle already...
  8. save the whales, dont rubbish australia, dont drink and drive, free steve biko...oh and help daz with an exhaust
  9. i am assuming you want midnight purple right? Its a chamelian colour and its quite expensive theres 2 versions of it....you can buy both of them from House of colours
  10. which one?midnight purple II or III?
  11. I reckon the toaster would work better .....can i order one of those off you?
  12. its only a slave cylinder thats operated any atf is ok for it.......make sure you bleed up the system guys
  13. by looking at the pressing of it and unnatural marks/lines created by the accident/damage......the only damage that will cause ill fated handling are the ones that mount suspension parts....this is unless the motor is 1metre further back than it should be creating an unbalance...altho 1 would assume this would be noticible
  14. i think we all have been a bit rough with our 34GTR gearbox's....Its quite funny actually i had a 400rwkw supra at my place for a while that had this gearbox in it and the thing is still going to this day without drama's
  15. on another note.....its not a power rating issue with this particular gearbox....its the fact of getting it into gear in the correct manor thats the problem
  16. ok then well his best bet would be to A)first check if the fan is operational B)find out the correct function of that sensor in question ie NO or NC and bypass it to check the circuit for operation .....
  17. I am in the automotive trade....lots of my friends have panelshops/mechanical repair shops both here and in japan...i usually get called in for one off jobs, jobs that require attention to detail or jobs that require a bit of engineering/design for componants that have been damaged,failed/have a design fault or are no longer available so therefore have to make the part in question, basically all the ball breaking jobs .......sometimes i am asked to fix the unfixable...i usually do something starting with the letter "F" to it and it aint fix
  18. So when you switch the A/C on does it fire up? west------>however the fan is on for the first minute or so when the vehicle is stone cold...this is because the sender is out of the range that the sensor can see....but after a minute it comes online....and the fan switchs off
  19. I think you would be suprised at what can be fixed....at worse a new one should still be available...or at even worse....you could make that section of rail quite easy with the use of a guilotine and a bender...i made one once because there was a few weeks wait from japan,it took about two and a half hours to scribe it all out, hole saw the original holes and bend it into shape....the tricky part is there is an offset section with a flattened out part...just takes a bit of "blacksmithing"to shape it
  20. heres my fan installed.....you wouldnt know that mine wasnt factory fitted.....it just takes a bit of time thats all
  21. oh by the way....i have a set of fans from a EL falcon fitted.....i wired them up through a VDO sensor that is adjustable and it piggy backs on the sender so no extra probes need to be fitted....however the fan is on for the first minute or so when the vehicle is stone cold...this is because the sender is out of the range that the sensor can see....but after a minute it comes online....
  22. the fan is supposed to work when you got the aircon on only......make sure your clutch fan is working correctly and the coolant system has been bled correctly
  23. i dont know about RB25 engines....but i have recently lightned/knife eged the crank on my rb26 and boy did this make a diffrence....while i had the engine apart i installed hks pistons, rods and metal head gasket. The engine now produces a huge wailing sound from about 4500 through to 9000 rpm and pull sooo much stronger between these figures, the revs build very quick aswell...might be worth you lookin into it
  24. dont stress....thats an easy job......heres how i did mine.....whoever jacked mine up had the sense to stop once is started fu(king it too much.....first you unspot the rail.....then planish it true again using a nice big lump of steel and a panel hammer(i use a 30cm length of railroad track i have) then clean all the sealer/deadner off the floorpan then reshape the floor pan by whacking it with a heavy hammer using a lump of wood to insulate it.....then give it a tune up with a hammer and dolly using the now straight rail as a guide to what the shape should be.....respot weld the rail on and reapply the factory seam sealers(not using that black tar sh1t that everyone use's.....if i catch anyone using that....you get castrated!)using the correct spatter gun and replicate the underbody colour and dress up the floor pan inside the vehicle and the job is done
