  3. #1 The wing is poo and reeks hardcore #2 I cant see a hassle with the front bar because it has the original indicators in it doesnt it?If any body say any crap about the airbag its depleted by the sensor in the centre of the console not by any thing else however i am under the understanding that the vehicle has to be identical to any of the other vehicles that will be done under this RAW so i would assume that they would want a standard vehicle...the height may be an issue and as you been told its not what you say or prove with brochure ect to DOTARSEHOLE its what the evidence pakage says.

Theres a few ways of going about it,if it was mine i would weld the holes,tap it up nice,file it and blend the colour into the 1/4 panels and clear the two 1/4 panels,roof and the A pillars that way it would look untouched.you could blend the paint out through the roof somewhere but being black it would look milky in the blend out area.I could do it to a car and you wouldnt notice but i couldnt do it to someones car coz i would notice!!!!!

  6. hoses on your vehicle will have a date of birth on them.....this gives you the very oldest date your vehicle was likely to be built and more than 50 94 gtrs were built

Ummm sorry munkey but i wouldnt be putting bog in it....i would be welding the holes and in regards to the colours if i had a new car and got it mixed it wouldnt be right,and we havent even talked about sunfade,previous repairs ect on the used cars that we all drive.Also the factory paint is High bake paint,a diffrent system all together,its not available anywhere and if you got it you wouldnt be able to use it properly....
  9. sounds to me like youve may have bent the valves....if your inlet valves were open and you turned the ex cam...you may have pushed the ex valve iinto and open inlet valve....
  10. midnight purple II and III are harliquin colours TV2 bayside blue is nothing special in the way of tinters its a group 3 colour though.In regards to any colours from any fomular from any paint supplier for any vehicle!There never right.Not even the factory touch up samples are right.

  18. an engineer will inspect it to make sure the following have been fitted ....original aust delivered seat belts,child restraint anchor points,normal mirror,dimmer switch,ulp filler neck,high mount stop lamp,tyre and emmisions placard,side intrusion bars and new tyres
  19. heres mine I built up my datsun 1200 ute bare metal respray ect after modifying the lip araound the tub(removed the tie on hooks and factory crappy upright standing seem weld around the tub)i drove it for 1 month or so the one day got the grinder out and chop topped the roof....i removed the rear firewall and moved the whole cabin back a few inchs this allowed the roof to come down 2 inchs while sloping the a pillars back.Then i copped a brain wave and built an IRS using a subaru diff centre with a custom made cradle that bolted into the original leaf spring mounts so no body mods at all  then i made upper and lower A arms and used pulsar front stub axles with discs and calipers.Made a composit drive shaft out of subaru and pulsar shafts and used 2 x16 compression and 16 rebound adjustable shocks from a late model KX80 motorcross bike...it worked a treat!But that wasnt enough so i got a suzuki vitara transfer case and took all the guts out of it and joined the PTO type setup inside with 3 double row cam chains and gears from a ford V8 the bolted that on the flange on the front of the diff.This gave me an offset direct PTO to run up to the front for a constant 4WD setup.I then took a series 4 non turbo RX7 engine out of my clappered out old EX aussie post B2000 mazda and had planned to shoe horn it in there....i havent finished it yet as i need to make a front end similar to the back end up but it should be fun when i finally get around to it Theres pics of it around here on SAU somewhere i posted them a while back
  20. no such thing as a rebuild plate duncan and munkey they have nothing to do with dotars......the car would have been bought in for wrecking under the old scheme pre 8th march 2002 or imported as a race car then "stripped" and rebuilt...dotars will not know any history on this vehicle

  23. no its white high build primer,we use white to get a good reflection for the yellow....its been rubbed very smooth thats why is quite glossy.It would pay for you to call me before you come over just incase we dont go in...its looking a but crappy actually as i got called in for a job today and didnt get time to prep the car up for the weekend,but give us a call when your in the area

  25. I take this type of care in preparing any car i work on.....so do all of my mates with panel shops....i do get your point but you have to understand mine....if i dint post these pics here what would you think if you heard the car was in half???you would think it was dodgy right?
