  1. have a search on here for a topic called "tuning over the sea" a guy here in oz tuned a guys car who was somewhere iout the back of bum f**k idaho (not acyually idaho just an expression for a small town in the middle of no where) i guess he used remote desk top or something like that.
  2. http://www.justice.vic.gov.au/wps/wcm/conn...e-Bridge-NB.pdf There is one, the 2 test dates are 19/09/07 and 23/09/05, so it was 2 years between checks and since it has not been updated we can only assume that its been almost a year since it was last checked.
  3. Any one know how often these camera's need to be calibrated, checked a couple that i have been done by in the past and it shows up to a 2yr gap between them being checked.
  4. i hate the olympics, its a waste of good air time.
  5. Go read the rules again, if it is an amber as you are approaching an intersection you must prepare to stop, if you dont and a cop spots you then it is up to his judgment as to whether or not you were able to stop. Dont go handing out advise on matters you clearly know very little or nothing about.
  6. i started to get these noises on my way home from workd a few weeks ago, stopped at a servo and all i could see was that one nut looked to be a little loose (i was already missing one due to a stripped stud) thought i would drive the 2 or 3k's home and fix it there, by the time i got home i was down to 2 loose wheel nuts. My problem was that my wheels were the wrong offset for my car and were using spacers, the nuts only grabbed by about 5mm, this probably is not your problem but if your wheel nuts have come loose it will be making the same noises. Got new wheels the day after this happened as can be seen in the pic below.
  7. The standards still have the clear fog light section but nothing in there and the back is smaller, your better off selling yours and buying normal ones rather than cutting up good ones.
  8. im not getting any email notifications atm.
  9. I was told when i got my license that if you run a red light that you dont get a fine for it as there more forgiving for trucks, in the last 5 years i have been flashed 3 0r 4 times and never got a fine. Thats got more to do with the way the truck is loaded, if something is unstable it should either be put behind something bigger and solid or tied down, found out all these things in the first 6-12 months of driving trucks now i never have a problem, you will find most good drivers that have been driving for a couple of years dont have these problems, if they do them there the type of people your company can do with out.
  10. Im not in any hurry to get it, probably wont play it that much and most likely wont play it online = i'll wait and get one off ebay.
  11. What sort of intercooler do you have? I had a normal in one side out the other and was able to mount the cooler far enough back that the spot light adjusters just hit it, i now have a blitz lm return piping ic (probably the same as the cooling pro one), this one sits up higher and further forward, could not find anyway to keep the spotties unfortunately, had to go back to normal indicator only housings and even then had to trim a lot of excess plastic off the back of those, its a bitch but its the way i had to do it.
  12. is there any reason why you dont want a double din touch screen, personally i prefer that to a fold out, just looks neater.
  13. if your willing to drop the price i'll take it, can get it off ebay for $45 max.
  14. Going to be very hard to get 2x2.5 inch pipes up through the guard and keep the air box, even if you go a pod there wont be much room left. Have you maybe looked at getting a forward facing plenum, that way you can run the piping either side, saw a pic some where of the intake side piping running under the rad support so you did not have to cut a hole in the guard.
  15. Read my post again, you sit there with your foot on the brake then turn it on to lock the front brakes, then you dont need to use the brake to go up through the gears doing a burn out, if you forget to turn it off your not racing any where.
  16. that seems about the same size as my blitz, how much power are you looking for? Unsure how much power this set up will hold since it uses the factory piping in the engine bay which is 2.25", the rest of the blitz piping is 2.75" but you would get away with 2.5" since it is limited by the engine bay size of 2.25".
  17. clearing out old stock before new models are released?
  18. You will probably find that if you put in 2x512 sticks it will run a lot better.
  19. Nice. forgot about the sub. so i would need a 5.1 channel sound card.
  20. what is the difference between gtst door trims and gtr door trims?
  21. what sound card are you using, is it just stereo or does it have front and back, what sort of control do you have over the sound that is out put?
  22. also for manual cars you can put them on the front and lock the front brakes which makes it easier to get up through the gears (or maybe im the only one who cant heel and toe)
  23. Your best bet is to post them HERE
  24. im trying to decide whether to by a proper plumb back or just put the gtst one in a vice.
  25. Id like to know as well, i have a gtst bov and i run just under 1bar, also do you have a pic of your bov basti to show how you hooked yours up?
