  1. I too hate turbo timers monitoring narrow band is pointles BOV should recirculate or not be there at all. I will be installing a sard fuel reg on my car purely for the fact that it gonna take along time for me to save for injectors, and it will help me squeze alittle more out of my fuel system
  2. When using the MSD switch did you connect the wire directly to the vct wire or did you use a relay?
  3. Havn't got a voltage table done quite yet, working on it all i have now is nistune reading in mv from my techedge. I have searched the net high and low for a voltage table that is complete and actually works but nothing so far. I need something that a can set to output any voltage i choose between 0 - 5v and i'll have it done in no time
  4. Got the multimeter out today and the correct wire to tap is the white wire.
  5. Cheers, It wold be easy to build the table if i had a voltage generator, but none of my embedded boards had DAC's.
  6. Guys just need a little help logging boost. I have a Techedge 2J1 Controller and an Apexi AVC-R I have wired the middle pin from the Apexi map sensor to the AUX IN 1 port on the WB Controller. The Techedge software, as well as Nistune software are reporting voltage values of 0.00 - 0.02 <- I think this value is ground float. Have I connected the correct pin from the Map sensor? Any one have a voltage to pressure table for this map sensor? Do I need to install any resistors/capacitors to the wiring for this to work properly?
  7. You could also adjust the injector lag times to be lower, should lower the fuel output at low injector duty, but wont change much as duty gets higher
  8. Any chance you an share what methods you used to find the leak?
  9. I guess adjusting the oil pressure going to the cam might do something useful, But who's to say you actually have any amount of fine control
  10. Doesn't a short block come with heads but no accessories?
  11. My turbo time is apart of my alarm, try locking you car and the pressing the button again this turns my turbo timer off might work for yours
  12. Let me know if you still need a hand in in Girawheen aswell and installed my second avcr a few weeks ago
  13. The soft one is only on till I get injectors and fuel pump
  14. Stao go the turbo installed today first impression is i have picked up response My dash tacho is reading about 200 - 300rpm high so where it starts to pick up is atleast 500rpm sooner not to mention the boost controller is turned to its lowest setting on a 10psi actuator so theres more response in her when i get a change to adjut settings
  15. Nothing wrong with the AVCR its actually one of the better boost controllers on the market. You just need to know how to set it up properly.
  16. Any of the pros want to share the best way to leak detect? Is there an easy way at home to use some sort of smoke?
  17. no pulsing it during spool or just before you gate starts to crack will improve your response
  18. Also open up your ecu and check for burn marks im thinking it could be a blown injector driver
  19. if you are using a stock ecu i suspect a wiring or ecu problem. Rb20 injects fuel via 2 banks of 3 injectors
