  1. Sorry! NATRA is "National Radiators" the biggest manufacturer of Automotive Radiators in Australia so I might be surprised if they didn't export to NZ. Maybe you should chat to STAGEFUMER11 he seems to know a bit about them and mine is an 84 with just 157K on the dials
  2. This is directed to all PNV owners, friends and acquaintances. I would like to once and for all establish just how many of these cars are in Australia, and in what form and colour combination. If you own or know someone with a Paul Newman, could you find out it's chassis number and forward it to me via this forum so maybe we can keep a track of them. The build date would be nice as well. George, Somebody has done a number on it, because the parts book, although doesn't include all the radiators available for the model, specifies ONLY 1 for all L series engines and then ONLY 1 radiator support panel for all models, sedan, van, hatch & coupe. All I can suggest is you get your local radiator guy to check his NATRA measurement section in his catalogue to come up with something as close as, or maybe an MR radiator will fit, as it's in the book as the same. Where is Nelson, you talking as in bay NSW or ??????? I have DR radiators in Sydney, but I'm going to change them as well, away from antiquated copper and brass to alloy.
  5. How would a 3 inch back to the 1st muffler and 3.5 inches from out of the 1st to the rear, as I had made a 3.5 inlet and 2 x 3 out muffler made up, when working on the RB25/30. As per attachment.

  10. No! not until I roll it out of the garage again, but the coilovers were physically 50mm shorter than the standard same item, yet it doesn't appear to the eye any lower than before. What Disco says is right and is emphasised in front wheel drive. When the lower control arms go past the horizontal, they really handle like a pig. They might look good but they don't do anything. Next time your cruising down the road and behind a FWD car that bounces on every little mark on the road, you can bet it's on the bump stops and lowered with the magical hacksaw blade.

  12. Check the spring rates, you might have a DRAG set up, which would have the rear springs a lot softer than the front so that it does that at launch. About 200lb/in is a good rear lowered rate. Maybe a little less like 175 but not much less and with 175's in the rear 200 up front or 225/230 with the 200 rears. Larger diameter sway bars will fix your roll problems. My PNV has 24mm rear sway bar and 26mm front with 330lb/in front springs & 290lb/in rears on JIC Coilovers on all corners and it handles quite nicely under hard driving. Ride is a bit ordinary, but that is what I expected with springs over 3 times harder than standard.
  13. Don't know Adam, but RSX84 suggests Pioneer Coaches might be pretty cheap if your interested. I just listed the complete body as the body/engine number holds an engineers report for a/mkt turbo application.   14. I just listed my MR30 Body that might interest you, the unique part about it is the engine/body combination comes with an ENGINEERS REPORT for after market turbo application.   16. My PNV is an ES but I am missing the Turbo badge, but thanks to Ben in Adelaide he gave me a GT badge from the car, so I have taken the Skyline strip off the boot lid and will have GT on the left & ES on the right. Then let them wonder what they see.
  17. As some of you know I HAVE THAT FRONT BAR in Sydney and it's up for grabs. BUT!!!! I would suggest to everyone, as I don't want it any longer because of the rarety of my PNV I'm only going to fit the factory optioned bits as like the iron mask front and DR fron spoiler. MAKE A MOULD of it, as there are at least half a dozen guys here that would buy one. Cheers, Dennis
  18. We have discussed this heaps on here in the past, and in particular a marathon R30 post started by RSX84. The problem is lowering beyond 30mm. The only fix is to modify the struts to accept R31 inserts that have a 27mm shorter stroke and use R31 rear shocks as they have a 20mm shorter stroke. Cheers

Just to throw a spanner in your thoughts, I have a mate that had a VL Turbo Exec, the turbo badge was taken off and stock VN Calais mags fitted, and to the naked eye, it looked like a VL Exec with Calais Wheels until anyone wanted to have a go.
