  1. Within hours of each I had emails from @Greens and @AustralianLabor about Tax Transparency. Both contradictory. Wish they’d work together.

  2. Ooooh, no idea. This story appears to be regarding local domestic sales anyway.
  3. Forgive my ignorance, what is that?
  4. I see some courses on @udemy from Pema Chodron & Thich Nhat Hanh. Are these courses or just audio rec’s? Do they get some money from this?

  5. Interesting read on Autoblog. It seems that there are some nice, chunky punishments if a dealer or auctioneer is caught rolling back the clocks. But, seems to be a lot harder to prove that they did it. So, low risk, high reward for the scumbags. Federal law permits consumers to obtain treble (triple) damages in court or $1,500, whichever is greater. The Secretary of Transportation's office can pursue a criminal warrant for odometer fraud and a fine of up to $100,000 on your behalf. The Attorney General's office in your state can pursue any and all civil and criminal penalties that have already been mentioned. What kind of penalties does a dealer face in Aust? (Please, don't bring dodgy Australian businesses into this, this is a factual discussion about penalties. Thanks.)

  11. Wow! @DickSmith charging $50 for 32gb sd card! @Officeworks here I come!

  12. I use spotify every day in the car, I don't usually hit my 1.5GB limit. Saving for offline use is a good option also. This headunit looks the goods; http://www.carjoying.com/quad-core-android-car-radio/quad-core-mazda-android-car-radio/joying-2015-automotive-android-4-4-4-kitkat-7-inch-2-double-din-in-dash-car-gps-navigation-system-car-audio-for-mazda-3-2004-2008-axela-2006-2008-support-bluetooth-obd2.html
  13. RT @Pundamentalism: Just bought a house with period features. Though she HATES that as a nickname.

  14. Hey Tim, Might be worth starting a new thread as this one is from 2007 and info is bound to be out of date now.
  15. Any more pics? Is that the UAS Zed?
  16. Nice result! I'm concerned about the appropriateness of 'daisy' as a name.
  17. Microsoft launches PowerApps, allowing you to build business apps without any coding skills https://t.co/nnNIm6VdvT via @thenextweb

  18. Love git bisect. Love @webchick’s tutorial on using it. https://t.co/LHAJ9Yx3Pp Thanks Angie.

  19. Ours only started recently. 160k. Hopefully mech at next service can fix that. Def no oil under the car (whew).
  20. All our injectors and loom were replaced. We got a letter from VW about it. Not sure if it was an 'official' recall or just a 'make good'.
  21. Terry, my wife and I love our Passat. Its a fantastic car that does domestic and road trip duties very well. Its put up with our family and the dogs and is just effortless in its work. BUT, I feel that I can't trust VW now. My issue is with the manufacturer, not the car.
  22. Thank you! Very much appreciated.
  23. I'd hazard a guess that one will be built before long.
  24. This looks great. As said already, so nice to see a car brought back to life instead of being parted or wrecked.
