  2. I'm gunna go down on the 17th of December. You should come Fatz!
  3. PS: I'll do an updated entry list on Thursday guys. I need to give Dave some time to get home and send the forms to me... LOL
  4. She can come out as a passenger... Or even double enter her... I mean... The car, and let her co drive... You know what I mean...
  5. Kitto: Never met someone who's broken an oil pump from limiter abuse hey? Let me know when you're in my kneck of the woods, I'll come say hi. Then you'll know someone who has broken an oil pump through limiter abuse.
  6. Yeah mate, I'm in the gong. I'll be out this Thursday, but I can do it the one after if you're fine to wait? Just PM me closer to the day to remind me.
  7. f**k off! That's a 1JZ!
  8. There are lots of fors and againsts. Some people claim it using manifold causes boost spikes as you run a longer actuator line as well as a longer pressure source etc etc. I used to run my old TD07S off the manifold, never had boost spike issues, and I actually had a reason... I had no BOV, there fore I wanted my pressure source to my wastegate in vacuum during gear shifts rather then seeing the huge pressure in the cooler pipes. This forced the wastegate shut whilst shifting, and made the car come back on boost hard again... But on a nice little street setup, I'd have the pressure source as close to the turbo as possible.
  9. If he is running lines straight to the wastegate, then no amount of restrictors can lower the boost, no matter what you do. Restricting air/pressure to the wastegate will only INCREASE the boost not lower it. Ruxis, I can come have a quick look over the car soon for you and make sure it's all hooked up properly (Didn't watch the vid) and check that nothing should detonate. Also, if you paint the FMIC black then it's not likely to be spotted by the police to begin with, so no issue there.
  10. Sorry, there was a message to not drink drive in that?.. I couldn't stop laughing at the accents aye bru...
  11. No point having the car built so that you can't run the boost you want...
  12. Good work Mark! About time you got a good run from your car!!!
  13. Edit: NVM... I thought he quoted Zebra and was arguing...
  14. I thought the Hypergear turbos had a nipple on the outlet of the turbo already for that purpose... If not, do as Jez has said and put a brand new nipple on the intercooler pipe, nice and close to the turbo.
  15. Typical Nissan...
  16. Yes they do. So do LS1s... The LS1 still has plenty of room for TT so long as you don't want to be keeping crap like the Air Con. Check out my pics (Although, if you had been in Brads workshop you would have seen my car first hand with LS1 in it)
  17. It's an Astra... My HONEST advice (Even though it's a run about) GET RID OF IT! My mother just had all matter of issues with hers. We finally got everything fixed, and before driving it any more (In case it broke again) went and traded it in... Different troubles the car had over 18 months, BHG, snapped a timing belt, was over heating (With the whole cooling system replaced), in that time it also had the radiator explode, a hose that looked in perfectly fine condition burst, as well as a number of other problems... As well as all of the oil leaks you've been mentioning... These cars for some reason, once they start breaking, they keep breaking. GET RID OF IT!
  18. You have a target date... Get on it! PS: Depending on power you're going for, 1000CC injectors may not be enough...
  19. I told you I have an RB25 head you can buy for a good price... You just need the RB30 to bolt it onto! PS: Chubbs... WIN IT OR BIN IT!
  20. This is why I haven't been to the track in a while... LOL
  21. WTF are you smoking? Your reaction time is the time it takes from when the green light lights up, and when you break the first beam. Your reaction time, is all about how QUICKLY you react to the green coming on. If you had come to the SAU NSW drag day we held not long back, Sydney Dragway officials even explained this. What can quite majorly effect your ET is your 60 Foot time. This is the time it takes for you to travel the first 60 feet of the track. 0.1 of a saving here can be 0.2 of a saving at the top end of the track. For your ET, your reaction time means NOTHING.
  22. Heaps. Although if you're planning to come, please pay up now, we've been speaking with a few other clubs/forums as well as workshops...
  23. You are only going to be using this on the track correct? If it isn't engineered and certified, and you're using it on the road, you can be booked for it.
  24. LOL, spun bearing ponies...
