  1. So, I managed to get me a Air Compressor! Little 30L unit, comes with an air gun, tyre filler and a spray painting gun. The only thing I need to buy for it now is a 1/2" rattle gun!
  2. Dave, my whole exhaust system is purely custom, can have it made to any length and shape etc with the mufflers. The guy who does it is a family friend, to build my exhaust I had to take the car there, jack it all up, and he actually went under it and measure all sorts of things to get the mufflers the perfect lengths etc to fit. You can fit some MASSIVE mufflers in there, including before the catalytic converter. PM me if you want me to try T-up a time/day to have a lot
  3. Or just enough to get you to the shops and back on E85... Also the wheel rules are so farking weird. Secondly, the surge tank in boot isn't illegal if it is covered and vented properly. (It really should be setup on a charcoal canister like the tank). This is the same for the battery, if you don't have a sealed battery it is meant to be enclosed and vented outside of the car (For R33s etc)
  4. 9" will fit also. I'm running a cat, followed by a 5" mid muffler thats 550 mm long (Able to go out to 950MM from memory we measured), followed by a 7" Body, 950mm long, (These are both "cannon" style but custom made with fibre glass packing) The rear one we measured we can push out to around 9/10" round without an issue. There is also room to fit a 5" body stainless packed front muffler before the cat (Like some rotary guys do) We looked at if need be on my system running the stainless muffler as part of the dump pipe. There is so much room under a skyline for mufflers, it's awesome.
  5. Never heard of this before. It's actually pretty funny, the amount of extra fuel flow you get going from 99% to 100% compared to 98% to 99%... The amount of fuel flowing at 90%, is not going to be 90% of the CC rating. It's actually less as you have to take into affect dead time, plus the lower flow when the injector is first opening and then again closing.
  6. No it's called "That's not a burnout... That's from my turbo seals being blown on Sunday"
  7. Hopefully I can throw you some sponsor ship cachinga soon!
  8. Told you they'd do it...
  9. I've got one of those girls. It's hit and miss being able to get them! Bit like getting a clean hooker... LOL
  10. It's actually the PERFECT way to clean out the IACV. Put it down the pipe that goes to it and open up! Works a charm, and once it has cleaned everything out the cars normally idle much smoother once they've relearnt how to. After doing a clean with it, it is often a good idea to reset the manual idle, and then reset the ECU so it can learn to idle again.
  11. Time stamp means NOTHING as you can alter it, you need something like a newspaper which is dated upon print to prove the date.
  12. Anna, you'll learn VERY quickly to be able to dodge them. Majorly sucks that it's happened, the councils response to this will be "What pot holes". By the time they get back to you, they'll have filled the street in. Good idea to get something with a date on it (Like a newspaper) to date your photos.
  13. That's not a big off, that's two wheels on the track still! Off is when you come off the fish hook in an all wheel slide when you've gone in too deep trying to out brake cass so you trail brake wayyyy too long... Lol
  14. The air flow meter normally causes said problem... Might be easier to do a search on this issue... Covered extravagently...
  15. 600ml, driven on regular spirited drives (Like each weekend taken for a 20min to 1 hour thrash, I wouldn't worry if it filled that in 2 to 3 months.
  16. Sounds like the wires off the oil pressure sender IIRC.
  17. I failed the HPT the first time I sat it... I forgot my glasses... Couldn't see the f**king computer screen properly so couldn't see shit. ROFL.
  18. Quite a few times over also...
  19. When you replace coils, on stock boost run a 1.1mm gap.
  20. Yeah, my GPS has always read what those mobile speed test signs read. So now, factor in the over read in your speedos, PLUS the allowance we already have, and how far over is your speedo actually reading before you get pinged? Stop whinging people!
  21. The column runs what, a 25 spline? If it's out a tooth, it's going to be 15 degrees out... not 5. 5 Degrees would be an alignment issue, most likely the car is crab walking when you drive it.
  22. No other cylinders have coolant? Check all of your piping up around the plenum, if you've cross the TB heating system with a vac line, you'll be pumping coolant into the intake.
  23. Sounds more like your whole wheel alignment is out.
  24. Doing it yourself will save you around $2000+ in labour (And the markup mechanics put on parts!) I paid $330 for a 25DET VRS kit which has everything you need to lift and replace the head. I paid $560 to have my head crack and pressure tested and then fully serviced. At the same time you should do your water pump, timing belt, and all idlers. At a shop, doing everything you should do (To save you doing it within a year anyway) would probably be around $4000 I would guess (Parts for bits like water pumps, timing belts etc, plus all labour, plus rebuilding the head) But you need to find out why it popped first.
  25. Actually, the RTA wants to lower the threshold to only 4KM/H (Thus means the threshold is currently higher) people I know in the police force, currently put the threshold at around 8KM/H. Considering at 100KM/H most cars have around a 6KM/H over read, to be busted, your speedo is over 14KM/H over the limit (IE, 124KM/H in a 110 zone!). There's a bunch of streets around me at the moment, where I've driven a few cars down that currently have mobile speed readouts. 50KM/H zone, all of these cars read either 45 or 46KM/H 80 Zone, all reading around 74/75km/h Not just one make/model, but a few! Secondly, how long do you guys stare at your speedos for? I check all mirrors and my speed in under a second. That's why they call it GLANCING. You can look and get a very quick idea of what your speed is without staring at it and doing your 6 times tables. And the only people I know of being road raged for sitting on the limit, are the dopes who aren't over taking anyone and ar ein the right hand lane, and there are others who want to break the speed limit and don't mind getting caught. Those who get rear ended are normally in the above circumstance and attempt to stop suddenly
