If you put the new plug in, and started it, don't worry about pulling shit apart, you've already f**ked the motor.
Just go and drift it, when you get home, strip it, and rebuild it.
White, on stock rims.
I didn't get a chance to put my mags back on.
Had a race seat and harness in too.
White under the bonnet also, the dodgy as fruck heat shielding etc and shit under that bonnet means it stays down...
Such as cable ties holding shit in the engine bay in place... LOL Oh and duct tape under there... LOL
Edit: And Malcolm convinced me to wash it... It got a chamois down whilst sitting in its spot at the car show... It WAS orange when it arrived... I think even Uncy Dunc was shocked at the colour it turned up in...
If you looked in side... If you looked between panel joins, the front bar have a few different types of paint on it. headlights you can't see through... And then you start the engine... LOL
I don't actually have a straight panel on the car, they've all got a dent somewhere, and 90% of them have scratches... And when you look closely at the white paint, you can still see the grease trapped in the clear coat... LOL
It's a track hack... What ya gunna do?
With all the pics... I haven't seen mine appear yet... Who could miss that award winner?
"WORST IN SHOW" LOL And I even washed it! (Once I got to the show...)
You bought it purely for awesome limiter bashing?
Don't people have mechanical sympathy these days? I can't stand hearing my car hit the hard cut even once because of the bang it puts out!
I think it was funnier when that noisey commodore was revving his engine, had 50 Plus people standing around it, then Stu fired the Dino-Line up and it was literally like watching a paniced crowd running from a terrorist bomber... But all they wanted to see was a real V8 in a real Skyline...
I and another member had a good chuckle... LOL
My stocker came out by removing the dump pipe only off the motor.
My RB25/30 I can't remember if I do it with or with out the turbo... I think I took it off because it sits less then an inch off the strut tower...
I always do my R33 engine and gearbox together. It's all about getting the perfect distance from front lie on location to the hook, and back tie on location to the hook. Get the perfect angle, you don't need to "lift" the gearbox at all.
Gee... I must have only picked up 5KW with all the mods done on my R33 GTS-t then...
FMIC, full 3" TBE, lightweight flywheel, CAI setup... 185KW (That was a "roller coaster" setup though of a power curve... Once tuned 193RWKW...
DE+twill be more tractable power wise off boost too due to higher compresion.
Whilst the clutch is slipping... IE, it should be engaged, but isn't "locking up"... Or more, as described, revs go up, but speed/power doesn't match. This leads to a burnt clutch. Also, dodgy shifts do as well, IE "Flaring" gears...
Where are you going to get it from?
Ethanol comes from plants, or yeast as a bi-product.
If you're not using the whole crop, then you're not utilising your supply 100%, and the amount of yeast, and then how hard it is to distill... Not worth the effort.
The big issue is, even if demand rises, and supply rises, it's going to reach a point where demand > supply.
Australia doesn't have the viable land area to be able to produce ethanol.
America has the issue also... There are now farms that ar epurely growing shit for ethanol... There was a bit of an issue where food supply dropped...
I'm all for E85, but it can never be main streamed as a replacement for pump fuel. We can't supply enough...
Oh, and to all the greenies... Every car in the world accounts for around 3% of the total amount of Hydro Carbon emmisions each year...
IE: Stop worrying so much about your car being bad on the environment and look at the coal fired power stations we run Australia from!
No no.... My RB25/30 pumps everything to the head, then out the oil breathers... There is sdefinitely a problem at sustained RPM.
The other big thing, most RB26 that are spinning big ends are doing it in GTRs... Which manage to turn with ALOT more G-Forces then the RWD brigade do...
The occasional squirt 0 - 100KM/H is more fun though then no squirt 0 - 100 yes?
PS: The NA ricers (And I say ricers by the ones putting shit on cars making them seem something they are not, not the guys actually improving N/A performance!) make the whole world, cringe, laugh, and facepalm all in the same breath... You know that right?
