From my understanding of ethanol, I wouldn't bother with a tank of 98 to "stop it gumming" as Ethanol is a solvent, which means it will actually clean out the gummy build up, as well as help clear up carbon build ups etc.

E85 won't drop very much as its 85% ethanol (Alcohol)... Not much of it is made from oil... If oil halves, and lets pretend fuel prices halve, and fuel was at say $1.50 per litre you would expect ethanol to drop 11 cents... compared to your normal fuel that has gone from $1.50 to $0.75.

I would be more curious to see how the GKTech goes on a standard clutch.

How do you know the Cam timing (Not the ignition timing) isn't out? If it's at 220K, it could be that the timing is out a tooth if it has had a timing belt done recently.

From someone who has a half built LS1 into an R33 for track purposes, you really need to listen to Warps. You will instantly limit your choices of what/where you can enter to race. You end up in sports sedans if under CAMS, or in the full on open categorys under anything else. From memory with drifting they've else banned engine swaps from different manufacturers. That being said, they look great, and sound spastic. If I remember correctly, before the suspension was fully sorted on Stu's R32 LS1 he gave the keys to someone and it went a 1:02 or 1:03 around Wakefield.

Car has been f**ked hard. Id say the whole lot is twisted/bent. It looks like even the drivers side of the roof has been pulled down which would be pulling on the front of the car. Even if you get a rear half, youre going to then want to do a front half too... At either point, car is f**ked.
