  1. Saving that for a boys weekend.. mrs doesn't smoke so I'd rather save that for people that will appreciate it
  2. Yeah I spose Austria would be just as good, bit longer though yeah?
  3. A 25 should be just as easy as a 20 to install, my 30 was built and installed in a weekend. Give my mate at Ultratune Kingsway a call (don't say I sent you ), he's done a few conversions lately, not sure if he'd be interested though.
  4. We aren't getting married till I can afford to go to europe for our honeymoon.. Fly to Germany, hire a 911 (newer than my old ladys') and drive down through Switzerland into the north of Italy (family is from a little town outside Torino) then keep going down the Amalfi coast stopping off along the way. Also want to go to Oklahoma D'Day in a couple of years... One of, if not, THE biggest paintball scenario game in the world.. 4000+ people over 5 days One day I would also like my team to end up at the paintball World Cup
  5. pics, and how many is this now?
  6. I'm going single throttle body with the GTR plenum welded to stock runners, hopefully it turns out alright
  7. I guess he is talking about the skipping.. don't use so much throttle when turning then.. me? I like it, it scares women and children
  8. Mine cost me $100, it's just the plenum (like the post linked above), not t/b's etc.
  9. They tend to wear out synchros faster I believe. The more they shorten the shift, the worse they would be.
  10. I bought my C's shifter to suit RB25 box but also made it work on the RB20 box until I got the 25 box in. I had to space it up slightly (using one of the circlips from the standard shifter) to get it to clamp on the snout properly.
  11. Gee that was constructive! I was having problems where I would get a pretty serious misfire going after 20-30mins of driving (when it got hot basically). Found a coil plug that had fallen apart on the inside, replaced it, fixed it for a few days then it came back. I then decided to swap my splitfires out for my standard coils and discovered another plug falling apart, didn't replace it, just put it all back together with the stock coils and has been fine since.. was going to swap another plug on for the broken one but decided to not touch anything until if/when it decides to misfire again.
  12. w00t in b4 teh rate rise
  13. My tuner modified it so it sat much lower, he also assured me they use the 044 intank on all their drift cars and have no problems whatsoever with hardcornering and a low tank.
  14. For less than $450 I purchased my 044 and had my tuner install and rewire it.. I like having someone other than myself to blame if things fk up
  15. They are the same setup as RB20 heads (hydraulic lifters), I think if you want to go heaps of lift you need to go to a solid lifter 26 setup..
  16. Pretty sure a VLT sender works, I think that's what my mates apprentice used when he put the 25 in his VL Calais. But as Cubes said, why recreate the wheel? a new Navara sender is pretty cheap and if you can't find the part number, I've still got the box at home.
  17. When I built my 30 I discovered that the 25 head came with a different coolant temp sensor than the 20/26 (my 20 one was yellow, broke it, put the brown one in from the 25, ran in cold start all the time so nabbed a yellow sensor off a 26 and worked fine), now I don't know if this is a 20/26 & 25 thing, or an R32/R33 thing..
  18. R33 actuator is 5psi.
  19. Hmm.. after reading the ebay ad.. My theory is it's a device to alter the vacuum advance on older cars. "M5 Micro Kompressor W/ Meter Increase Ignition (NEW)"
  20. That sounds plausible but I don't think it would be tricking the ecu (unless it had a factory map sensor), more like vacuum leak before fuel reg to lower pressure and lean it out. Sounds dodgy, buy it Dale!
  21. It's not on the website.. They do have a 33 that's really a 32 up there though.
  22. Had a small sheet of 1.6mm ally, marked up a couple of strips, used the jigsaw to cut them, bent the ends in a vice and drilled some holes. Worked well enough to pass the pits
  23. Because they naturally run rich to be safe, even once tuned they tend to still be a little on the rich side to provide a margin of error with the forced induction Mine is tuned but runs rich because I didn't want him to lean on it at this stage.
  24. +1 for bbq, beer & boobs.
