  3. As a few of you know, I was recently made a casualty of the mineral and resources downturn. Well, as Murphy would have it, the very next day I was told that my 14yo daughter Ashleigh has been offered a last minute place on a music tour of Singapore with her school band and choir in April, and I need some help to raise the $3,500 to send her. So, in a bid to publicly display the sheer awesomness of the Perth modified car community...... Help A Kid Out Charity Cruise Date: Saturday 28th of March Official Meetpoint: City West Time: 7.30pm meet up to leave at 8pm SHARP Maps: Will be handed out at the meetpoint for $10 donation (see below) Bring: Full tank of petrol, CB radios if you have them, etc *Remember: The police will be given details of anyone responsible for anti-social behavior, so drive safe and enjoy the cruise All donations will be made transparent through bank statements I will post up (so everyone knows it doesn't get spent on my car) and in the event that there is any money left over, it will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. I will notify everyone to amounts raised etc in this thread. Please feel free to spread this among other clubs, post it up everywhere, and watch this space for further developments we will see you there! **** Update - Due to the generosity of local businesses, I can now confirm there will be door prizes given out on the night, so make sure you keep your map! Details will soon be following, and don't forget to post this cruise on all your other forums! Also, A bank account has now been established for all those wishing to donate to the cause. This has been done to allow total transparency, and anyone wishing to see where all donations are going, need only ask and they will be given statements etc. Anyone wishing to make a donation, PM me and I will pass on the account details.

  8. Or, just look at your back window before getting in the car.....
  9. I am on this like a fat kid on a cupcake. I fkn love early morning BBQ's! Name a time and place and I will be there. Soo busy with reno's and shiz I need an excuse to wash the plaster dust off and have an adult conversation every now and again.
  10. Neil - you work at Worsley yeah? That hill will test the cooling system on ANY car (I started my apprenticeship when I was living in Collie ) Can you let us know what (if anything) is found chasing the vaacuum leak?
  11. I'[ll give you a Jason Akermanis trading card, 2 packets of juicy fruit and one of my dad's old penthouse mags FINAL OFFER
  12. Maybe we should make this a fundraiser, open an invite to the rest of SAUWA and donate teh money to the Vic bushfire appeal? $10 a car and I reckon we could make a difference.
  13. +1 for special man-hugs
  14. it would handle like crap, and not just because of the live axle. Why would you want all that extra weight hanging past the front axle line? Sif replace a V6 with an inline 6.... On a crusie on Saturday night just gone, there was a guy in an RB26DETT powered Patrol that was pretty awesome. Chucked four rooster tails in the dirt about 20 feet high Oh, and there is a RB25DET powered HQ Kingswood here in Perth that is pretty sweet *rummages*
  15. http://www.officeofroadsafety.wa.gov.au/do...08DLleaflet.pdf It could be either $300 and 3 points, or $700 and 5 points for a regular license AFAIK, but due to the fact that you are a p-plater, you may need to prepare yourself for one of these...
  16. Damn! Thats a fairly large amount of effort involved!
  17. *shrug* I guess I dont need to say that the resident passenger seat whore is IN! I will be taking Teh Fury this time though. Can I suggest the 2nd weekend in March?
  18. sweet baby jeebuz on a tricycle! If you guys are serious, I feel a bit let down I never read the old mag Congrats anyway dude. If you bring stuff like that back I will subscribe just for the shits and giggles....
  19. Its also been done before BUT if you are really keen, PM Appealing on here - he makes that sort of thing up for a living, and did the sticker on the back of my car for me.
  20. LOL NFI - but it was about the only visual mod on the whole car (aside from the rims) It was originally a 25X Four That damage WAS sustained trying to punch a rear diff out of a WRX laterally though. Stood up damn well considering. Look forward to seeing it again man.
  21. My Stagea nightmare was real
  22. How did the coil pack wiring loom feel? Brittle? You may want to grab a multi meter and do a continuity check from one end to the other and make sure all the clips/plugs are contacting properly. Also, did you check the plug gaps before putting them in? I have had issues with NGK's having some pretty big variations in gaps out of the box before.
  23. *shruG* I'll jump on the pic bandwagon. I better warn youse though that they were all shot with an epicly crap camera, and I am no professional... http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s28/new...rvation%202009/ Oh, and I would even enter Teh Fury just to make up numbers if SAUWA did get a display together for MV10 but I would rather sever, garnish and consume my own genitals than go to autosalon.
